Flashback – Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
Nearly 6 years ago I was a king in the skies. I was a hero, an ace and nightmare for other pilots. I think it’s safe to say that this was the best flying game on the original Xbox and perhaps the best game on Xbox LIVE. The story was great, the gameplay was great and it was a blast to play online. I played with a good friend of mine and we were like doom in the skies. We dominated in the skies. We were downright fierce in those planes.
Flashback Game: Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
Released: November 11 2003
Platform: Xbox
Next-Gen Meter: Very High
I know the possibility is slim and none since FASA Studio is no more but I’m still waiting for a proper sequel to this. I bet no one knew that the fames Shadowrun developers were behind this title but they were.
There are current games being made that resemble it with it’s mechanics but there’s no full sequel on the plate. If you haven’t tried it, head out to the Xbox Originals and download it. It’s a hefty 1200 Microsoft Points but I think it’ll be well spent for those who haven’t played it before.

Great game. It’s backwards compatible so if you don’t want to pay the 1200 for a digital copy, you can easily find it used and for little $.
