Blow me you god damn monopoly. What do you have to worry about, you have the NFL license, you have the ESPN license (and might I ask, when the **** do you plan to even use the ESPN license?), hell you have the football game to own....so why should you worry about the little attempt by 2K to re-gain some old fans. Come August, Madden will once again be the best selling game, it will break previous records, blah blah blah.

EA should leave us to enjoy our own game. I mean they have all those licenses and yet they still worry about 2k competing with them. I don't think 2k is making All Pro to compete, I think 2k is making All Pro for their fans, but still EA has to but in with everything 2k's doing. This is one of the many reasons why a lot of people hate on EA and bash them because they try to eliminate their competition and therefore eliminating people's choices on what games they want to play.

While buying the licences aren't illegal in themselves, doing it to run the competition out of business is. This is capitalist country, but monopoly by means of running your competitors out of business is not only frowned apon, it's highly illegal. The only reason 2K isn't doing anything is because they don't have enough proof to file a lawsuit against EA acusing them of monopoly.

That being said, EA making comments like this publicly is evidence enough that EA is trying to harm 2K sports and run them out of the video football business. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lawsuit filed after that statement.

shame that you guys follow this type of hype media. EA isn't attempting to stop them from being able to make a game.

love All Pro because it's a great game not because you hate EA. that's why i say even if All Pro were sub par (which it is in most areas) you guys would still love it because it's not EA.

what he's saying is that EA must make sure that All Pro is an afterthought with the consumer...how do you do that? you make a better Madden etc. EA is NOT going to buy all the legends and make them all sign individual contracts so 2K can't make a game.

but that is what these STUPID hype media sites will have you believe and well...it looks like all of you guys are falling for it.

read what the guy from EA is saying a bit more closely. i don't know a company out here that wants their competition to succeed. buying the NFL license is one thing...that's an organization but trying to sign thousands of legends individually is STUPID to assume EA would even attempt to do.

love APF on its own not because you hate EA. APF is a good game. it isn't great. but i don't hear anyone here saying that. hmmmm.

if All-Pro was technically sound and included a franchise mode..then EA would have a reason to be scared...
