I was at Gamestop for a good long while today (Buy 2 get one free) for used Xbox games, and I found the rare Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows in mint condition :)... Anyways, By the looks of it's popularity (People are asking for them left & right while I was there) and it's Virtual Console... I know by 2008 many developers are going to have some great games planed... RE4 Remake my be the thing that gets me over the hump to jump on that Wii60 bandwagon.

I will also need to get a Slim PS2 one day to play my old PS1 greats. :(

Oh, abtw... Is there a controller (3rd party maybe) a lot better than the Gamecube one to play Gamecube games B/C on the Wii... I absolutely hate the Gamecube controller.

NO, I have everything I'll need for it for now. Once stuff is released I'll buy it. Those are the things I have pre ordered.

EDIT: There's the Wavebird (one I use) but it's essentially a regular gamecube controller with wireless capabilities. Best wireless controler without doubt.

I hate the buttons (The way they're shaped) and that nipple thing as the right analog.

Very hard to believe since practically nothing about it has been shown… I would bet on a delay.

Nintendo don't usually reveal a whole lot about their games. Look at Mario Strkers Charged!, out in a month and nothing much shown.

I also know that Nintendo has been known to delay games A LOT!

In that regard, Sony are going to win the console war and Microsoft are going to come second again.

Lets not judge them by what they've been doing but more by what they are doing now. Mario Strikers is on time so there's no reason why any of their other games won't be. (Already been delayed once, one more wouldn;t hurt anyway lol)

As far as the Wii, I have started playing the sports games again. I know graphically they aren't great, but it is fun to box, golf, etc.

I almost got a Wii yesterday at Game Trader, but I had to buy an extra controller (Wand/Analog stick) and a game with the purchase = $350... I couldn't do it at this time.

My girlfriend said that she'll get me one for Christmas when Costco gets more in... That should be a good time to know if it'll get more games I want (Instead of just RE4 & a few others), or to forget it all together.

Well, my copy of Mari oStrikers CHARGED! has been despatched and should be here........Tuesday :( Darn bank holiday weekends.

Also, Mike, the extra controller set is a must for the Wii because believe me when I say your GF will wanna join in. It's a party console at the highest level. I've mentioned this before but there has never been a console in the living room in this house prior to the Wii, folks all love it.

Well that extra controller I could justify... But it was the one wanted/needed game that I couldn't find/want.

I wanted the Gamecube version of Zelda... Not the Wii one, and all other games for the Wii doesn't interest me in the slightest. So I wasn't going to pay $50 extra for a Wii right now for very few games... Really to play a few Gamecube ones.

Most say the Gamecube version is better (Wii control’s are limited) and the reason why the Gamecube one is better because you can control the camera… whereas in the Wii version you can't, and that causes seeing problems.

I've yet to have a problem with the camera and from what I remember you could control the camera.

I checked and you can control the camera to an extent. Pressing the 'Z' moves the camera behind you.
