Its coming people. 2008 for PS3 and 360.

The original was the best launch title IMO so this is great news for me.

lol, that would be one of the reasons I hate that place. They (and I'm generalising here) deny the ridiculously obvious.

Anyway, anyone who played it should have known a sequel was coming, it hardly needed mentioning to be honest.

I remember. I was one of the ones fighting along with you. People always denied F.E.A.R. would come too.

lol... FEAR was another I got blasted for also. Funny how I forgot about that. And we all remember Assassins Creed, Devil May Cry 4, Ace Combat 6, Katamari & Virtua Fighter 5.

All we need now is MGS4 & FFXIII, and my circle of once thought of PS3 exclusives becomes complete on the 360.

Odd, not sure if its just the store I go to.. never had problems with preowned..

only catch is, I'm one of those types that tries to avoid the Greatest Hits or Platinum packages, just in case they become worth something..

just found a copy preowned.. going to load it up tonight.. hmm need some freaky spooky kinda love (still looking at my copy of a non BC version of Silent Hill 2).

I'm interested in the game and will definitely give it a look when it comes out but I'm hoping it'll be better than Condemned.

I liked the atmosphere of Condemned but the game was way too linear for me to call it a great game. It certainly isn't as scary as some people make it out to be either.

The idea of the forensic tools was utterly wasted too IMO. With the game basically doing everything for you there's no real sense of actually investigating a crime scene etc.

So, with the sequel I'd like to see the same excellent use of graphics and sonics to reproduce the same in-game atmosphere as the original but with more actual game in there and definitely some divergent plotting for the storyline.

I just may have to check this game out since I never picked it up at launch. My gaming time is getting tighter though. Between Tiger Woods 07, Crackdown, Guitar Hero II and soon to be Forza it's going to be tough getting extra time in there.

I heard all of these good things about Condemned, so I picked it up on ebay for like $15, in March. Not disappointed, one of the coolest gamesI've playedi n a while.

Only thing I didn't like was how there was no mention of the zombie-looking things during the game. They were just like any other character in the game, nobody thought the chick with the bones in her chest exposed was weird, or said "what the hell was that?" The story just kind of kept on task, but left a few too many unanswered questions.

A lot of people I've talked to think the questions should be left unanswered, that the game should be left alone, and Condemned 2 should just be another game in the same universe - new characters, etc... so, I dunno...

yeah i started playing it this past Friday. had a great time when i hooked up with a few other friends. this will be a friend's only game for me when it releases for sure. :coolguy:

overall i enjoyed the new weapons and the bubble shield. it didn't leave me with an OMG feeling but it was a lot of fun. keep in mind, i'm a single player guy so the multiplayer parts of games don't get me as excited as a good campaign.

I'm with you there. I am looking forward to what will hopefully be an online coop game similar to Gears. Playing coop online with a great campaign is much more enjoyable for me than the MP portion of most titles.

Glad you are digging it. I can't wait to check it out for myself this week! :grinking:

Nice, In Condemned 2 you start as a raging alcoholic...lol... so you are a bit shacky at first when trying to shot or hit someone...you will also be able to throw weapons at the enemies..i.e. axes, etc

Also I hear Multiplayer...sweet...

I've heard good things about this and it gives a recap of the first one I think. So that is good for those new to the series (I never played the first one).

Condemned 1 is still the most underated 360 game to date. Its better than 80% of the games right now haha.

I have never really read up on it or even played it. What is good about it?
