ok. i played it at Gamestop a few days ago. i like it. :bird:

i hope there's something on the horizon like this for the 360. but i do like it. the cars wrecked and came apart way too easily but it was a pretty good game.

Yea I saw this at EBGames and my friends played it. I didn't get a chance to play, but I watched them play and it looked pretty fun... plus they all own 360's and were loving the game too, so they weren't Sony fanboys or anything. My Gamestop also has the new Zelda... great game.

it's s so so game for me...the controls/physics are kinda wacky, and everyone likes the graphics, but the textures seem really low res (look where the camera is spining around the car on top of the plateau.)

The controls are easy you just got to get used to the motion sensing, takes time.

I played this game last night at my cousin's house....its awesome. I agree, I really want a game like this on the 360. With Xbox Live support it would PWN.

i agree about the textures etc...it's not a game that screams next gen graphics..but i most liked the gameplay of it. it was pretty cool in the off road setting.

I played it at Best Buy and really liked it, the game looked freakin gorgeous! Too bad the PS3 controller feels so light and cheap.

I also played it at the Sony Store down in Florida when I was on vacation there, and to be honest ::No 360 fanboyism here:: I really disliked it. I thought the graphics were nothing compared to what the 360 is capable of doing. Now for the people out there who think gameplay makes the game, I thought the gameplay of Motorstorm was O.K. but nothing for me :P

I've played it as well at Target and i thought it was a blast! It was very fun and it looked great, but there were some areas that looked embaressing in comparison to the great graphical features. I dunno, maybe it was because it was on HD that i liked the game so much, ive never played the 360 on HD so i wouldnt be ableto compare em equally...

Yes thank you, That is exactly the article I was referencing towards. You can't see much in the avi, which is large in MB for what it is, but its just sitting there frozen. You know how the PS3 is supposed to be so smart (for AI), its soo smart that when it doesn't win a race, it has to lock up on me. Poor sport of a system. :D

Thanks, but it's funny... I'm such a pro 360 supporter that I am banned from many of the 360 forums. People can hate on me (A person) but I can't do the same to Sony :wtf:

As for me, I'll buy the PS3 when they drop back down to Earth. I don't feel the price is reasonable at all for us Europeans. I'll get it in a couple years when theres a wider variety of games to play.

Also, remember this... Just because the PS3 may have enough exclusives in genres you like to justify a $400 purchase, will they all be even good enough to buy at $60 each?

Moving onto the developers, I don't think I've come across any dev say they don't like the PS3. Heck, so long as they continue to pump out games, which they do, it shouldn't really matter which they prefer.

So, in conclusion, we know the 360 has more games. What we can't state as a fact is the quality of those games and that's why people might choose the PS3. Because they may prefer those titles above the selection available on the 360.

The 360 having more games is not an opinion... It's a fact. Better on the other hand is subjective, but only a biased Sony fanboy would believe the 360's games are worse than PS3's just because they are not on the PS3. Now you can say the same about me but how many EXCLUSIVE games does the PS3 have now that are known to be good to great in the eyes of most everyone? See, majority rules in the sales of games & consoles, and that is what matters for a fact.

See this is where I can't agree... I once thought the Atari Jaguar was a great system and that no one gave it a chance, how did that opinion end up? (Yes I bought it & still have it) :o Am I saying that the PS3 is like the Jaguar... No, but in electronics there is always something that is considered the best tech at the time without opinion... It's just a fact.

The 360 is the best tech for games period, the PS3 can't do any better or even the same for games.

Also, the only threat the PS3 provides is that if Sony wins, it proves that a company can completely lie to your face thinking of you as an idiot, force a format controlled storage disc down your throats, and put extra costs into a gaming system UNJUSTIFIED.

That is something I don't want to become the norm for my future gaming consoles.

I agree that Sony as a company suck, they made huge mistakes in mass marketing their machine but Microsoft isn't without its faults. Look at the amount of hardware issues both consoles have and its clear the the 360 has had more broken consoles than the PS3, even if you look at it on a timed basis.

And the whole Jaguar thing, how does that parallel the PS3 life? The PS3 is not going anywhere, I can't say whether it'll be the best selling home console like the PS2 turned out but it sure as heck will not go under like the Dreamcast. They have enough support to maintain a level heading.

Then you must of hated it when the PS2 had more than 70% control on the market. And just because Microsoft wins doesn't mean that there isn't any competition, it would really depend on the percentage of the market owned... If it was close to the same amount as Sony's PsONE & PS2, then yeah I would call that a working Monopoly without really being one. It then forces the developers hand to bend over backwards for the company that's in the superior #1 position.

That is not good, remember when Nintendo was in the same position? And for that reason, it's why we need Sony to fall quite a bit from grace.

Actually I owned a PS2 very briefly but got rid of it because of the quality of games,Just didn't interest me enough. I bought the Xbox at launch and stuck with it cause it had everything I wanted even if it did have a ton less games than the PS2.
Nothing on the PS2 ticked my fancy. It may have had the bigger selection of games but they didn't appeal to me.
Kinda like how the 360 has more games out now but they may not appeal to everyone ;)

Nintendo got a good hiding from their overzealous attempts back when things were looking good for them. Sony aren't quite in that position. Although I do agree that Sony are a little bigheaded, so long as the products are good quality, very few will complain.

Well I'm hoping for Sony to change for the better and to offer a much better system than the PS3 next time. Let's hope they learn from their past mistakes.

You've already written off the PS3? Its not even out in some major regions and in the parts of the world it is available, it's only been out for less than 6 months. Give it 6 months minimum, after all, the 360 didn't really get anything to shout about until 6 months after release.

That's the thing... It already got 6+ months when it was delayed and only 1 month after it's launch they were and still are sitting on store shelves.

Well I didn't say they are not selling, it's just that they are not selling fast for a console that just launched 3+ months ago... especially for a Sony one. I work at Costco, and we've have had a total of two shipments since launch and they were both before Christmas... The lines were not there for the PS3 like they were for the 360. What took the 360 seconds to sell out, took the PS3 hours to do with half the amount of systems - We got in two pallets at a time for the 360 (Two shipments also) and only one for the PS3.

Trust me, the PS3 is nowhere near what the 360 was & still is doing.
