According to MSNBC and its "sources" (dont take them seriously) it was an Asian male, possibly alumni.

AP reports 31 deaths (including gunman), still 22 confirmed (including gunman).

We only just started getting reports in on the news. I was shocked, when they showed the footage I passed it off as them showing one of the older shootings. This thing is happening more and more frequently now, at least it feels that way.
My heart goes out to those guys lost there.
