Agreed 100%. Peter is no longer a loser, he is now a member of the "kick ass then take names club". Heroes is pretty much the only show I watch on TV, and also The Closer.

I was excited for a while thinking about a showdown between peter and sylar. I was excited when they finally met up and were gonna scrap, it's just too bad we don't see what happens until the 23rd.

I was wondering if Peter was going to start absorbing and learning the abilities that sylar has learned. Could that lead to his meltdown be learning all those new abilites at once? Oh man, I can't wait!

After Sylar takes Issac's brain and starts painting the future, was that a picture of Sylar as president instead of Nathan?

yeah did you guys catch what Isaac said? he said he knew he was coming to kill him but not before he already told the heroes how to kill him and stop the bomb...so Isaac apparently sent something to someone with details on how to stop him.

i hate they gave him the painting skills though. next week does look good. Peter all Neo on those fools! :woot:

@aqua, yep. obviously that doesn't become true so they probably do something about it. i think his painting powers will be "different" somehow than Isaac's..maybe not accurate at all like Isaac's was.

Maybe Sylar can somehow shape the future with his painting powers, maybe that is how he painted a future with him as president. Only 4 episodes left!

yeah that's kind of what i meant...his isn't as accurate as Isaac's. his power is probably distorted reality whereas Isaac's was actual things that happened or were going to happen unless people changed it.

Sylar, because of all his power absorbtion, probably has a mixed up power now and can't paint accurate things...just things his own twisted mind wants/desires.

Maybe it is like Terminator 3 or like what Isaac said, you can't fight the future. Maybe that explosion is meant to happen for a greater purpose that saves the world in some way that we are not seeing. Just because .07 percent of the world population could perish doesn't mean the end of the world.

Anyways, have they even stated what they were saving the world from? If so, I must have missed it. I wouldn't think the explosion in NY would be it because in comparison to the whole world, that is very small.

Another thing I'm thinking about. Maybe that explosion is meant to take place in NY to take down that tracking device.

Those are just some ideas I had thinking about everything.

Anywho, back to Heroes.
I can't wait til the DVD comes out and I watch through the whole season again. It should be cool to pick up on little things after knowing what is going on.

Almost everyone in the future believed it was Sylar who blew up. Future Hiro thinks that by killing Sylar, he won't blow up and none of that future would happen. We found out it was really Peter who blows up. So if Sylar gets killed, Peter is still gonna blow up and the future is still gonna suck.

I thought in the last episode we learned that Peter could probably withstand exploding because of his regenerative powers. That's when it clicked in Nathan's head that he wants Peter to go ahead and explode so that can start his path to the presidency like Linderman wants him to.

Anyways, I'll stick with my theory that Peter is actually the bomb and killing Sylar won't stop the bomb. They would have to figure out a way to stop Peter from exploding to "save the world."

Well if he got stabbed in the head while he was starting to explode, he would "die" like when he had glass in his head. When the sword got pulled out (just like the glass got pulled out), he would come back to life.

So I finally watched this episdoe before reading through this.
It really seems like the events are very distorted. Even though the painting was made of Nathan as Prez it was evident to me that is was Sylar pretending to be him when Sylar drew his own picture where he knew it was himself. I was not at all suprised when Sylar revealed himself in this episode.

I just can't wait until this all comes together and we get to see how the characters gain understanding of the situation.

That's a good point made about Peter. I don't think he would absorb Jessica right into him (though it would explain why Niki was without her in the future). I think if Peter ever had that it would only be himself developing a second internal personality. It could also explain why Peter would set off the bomb, that his other personality did it. I think eventually Niki and then Peter would figure out how to control their innerselver or even eradicate them (Niki future reference again).

I thought about that also when watching it on Monday night. I have no idea how that would work.

As far as her "powers", I know that the mean one that isn't afraid to take care of business is pretty strong. Maybe she is like dr jekyll/mr hyde, bruce banner/hulk? (not as strong as hulk, I know. just similar in the 2 personalites and one of them is stronger than their normal self)

So I would like to refine my theory of what happens a little bit. I think at some point, Peter will learn Candace's powers. Maybe as he is exploding (or before he explodes) he makes himself look like Sylar. Then Hiro will do as in Isaac's painting and stab Peter (thinking it is Sylar). That is when Peter will "die" and the bomb will stop. Once Hiro takes the sword out of Peter's face, Peter will heal up and everyone is happy.

As far as Sylar, I don't really know what to say about him. I bet someone else takes him down.

Here's the real issue though. Who's to say that there is a bomb, when future Peter refers to the event he says the he set of the bomb not that he exploded. My guess is that Linderman is setting up the nuke that Peter Activates.
