The next title update for Gears of War is currently going through the certification process. We'll have more detail about the update next week but I can tell you that in addition to fixing a whole bunch of glitches, and providing 720p for VGA users running at 1280x1024, it will contain a brand new multiplayer gametype called Annex.

Some folks who got to play it a few weeks ago said they think it is our best multiplayer gametype yet but I'll leave it for you fans to decide what you think for yourself when it shows up soon on Xbox Live. More details next week.

I really hope they fix all the glitches. I'm tired of those idiots online glitching their way to victory :curse:.

I don't mind the glitchers, its part of the game and may not be what the developer intended but is still part of the game. Yeah it seems cheap when other players do it I just try to find a way to overcome. Same goes for Halo2 glitches.

I'm glad you enjoy the glitches so much, but it ruins the game. I refuse to accept frigging chainsaw glitching as just part of the game. Being chainsawed by someone who is not even remotely close to me is not fun.

I stopped playing it online when I realised I wasn't going to get better lol. I tried but I just seemed to get worse. I may give it a blast once the update hits.

People still play this game ? Until I see a party system similar to Halo2 its unlikely this game will see the 360's tray. I made it about 6k kills before the hard truth set in, playing with random idiots of random skill levels was just plain boring...
