Not really interested. GoW's online play options are too limiting to have a meaningful competition.

Really? How so? Is it the fact that they are a relatively small number of maps and only a few games styles? In this case there is only one gamestyle, Warzone according to the rules. As far as maps go, It's part of mastering maps thats makes it competitive.

Exactly what I've always told my friends harper. I don't even play GoW anymore. Mainly because it's the exact same thing over and over... no respawns either

I agree with the GoW statements

Highly disagree with Halo 2. I feel Ghost Recon 2 (not GRAW2) had it right.

I prefer the Rainbox Six style of gameplay better than GRAW's.

Rainbow Six 3 was kickass.

Black Arrow was R63 with a higher pricetag

R6 Lockdown was a complete joke online (anyone for the Office map?)

R6 Vegas took the only good element of Lockdown (the attribute thing) and brung back R63 fun. Unfortunately the crowd is that of Halo 2 (assholes). So its been tainted.

I'll be the first to admit that Halo2 is grossly overrated but it still is the gold standard for gameplay over Live. Why more devs have not tried to answer it is beyond me.

I am glad they havent tried to match it. Matchmaking was the most repetitive thing I have ever seen. At one point during my deathmatch frenzy I played on Ascension 12 times straight. It always between Ascension and that bigass map (I havent played the game in so long).

Its funny just how many people dislike this game but it still reigns supreme each week. Some decent posts in the thread, since its like Monday for me at work I will sum it up by saying.

Halo2 > R6V > GOW and somewhere way down road after PDZ and COD is GRAW 2
