i never played it on PS2 either, but I played (well tried to) on a demo unit on the 360, it was pretty fun, but I am being cheap and not buying it yet :(

I was going to buy the PS2 one because it had a wireless controller, but I figure since its coming to next gen, I'd wait.

Sucks that MS wont share the wireless technology with RedOctane. Back to wired gaming :(

Is it just my area.. or does it seem that stores like EB, Gamestop or Best Buy are limiting how many copies of the game/guitar kit they are receiving?

the local EB only has 2 copies for the shelf (after dealing with preorders) and Best Buy is only receiving 30 per store..

Didn't know about the Circuit City promo, I'll defenetly have to check that out.. normaly for stuff I dont preorder at EB, I pick them up at Best Buy since I have the Reward Zone card.. LOL and the way I pick up games I generely get something back out of it every 3 months.

Originaly I was on the fence with this game... but after seeing all the info on it.. and talking to people who played the PS2 version.. I might end up snagging this one.

rumor was my local circuit city didnt have any to give, so i just went to walmart and got it at midnight, I was still awake and i figured why not. My only complaint (and I knew before buying it) is co-op is local only.

I have Guitar Hero 1 and 2 for my PS2 so I think I'll just skip the 360 version.

I got mine Tuesday at about noon, awesome game. Searched for 2 hours today to find a second guitar since I was retarded and only got the 1 guitar bundle from RedOctane.com. I finally found one at Toys R Us, got the last standalone guitar they had. The Best Buy had I been to just a minute before told me standalone guitars didn't even exist yet.

I ended up passing on this game.. instead placed the preorder for the Halo 3 legendary god whatever eddition.. also picked up a few other games and a much needed strat guide (Bullet Witch, I keep getting headshot).

Granted in a few weeks I'll probrobly kick myself for not picking GH2 up..

Couldnt help myself.. stopped over at Best Buy to pick up a copy of Donnie Darko, so I hobbled my crippled self to the demo of GH2, played "Shout at the Devil".. now I'm hooked..

Ive been hooked for 6 hours straight right now. I still suck, but I am finally moving on to Medium. I have never played GH before.

just finished easy a few min ago.. tryed heart shaped box on medium... I think I'll go back to easy and finish off those songs to get the 5 star acheivment.. man do I need more practice...
