Seriously - why is this game so addicting? I'm not even talking sequel here, I'm talking the original. I am playing through it again to get ready to play II, and damn I cant stop for 3 days now. I havent even touched any PS3 or 360 game lately because of this.
Incognito.....you guys are freakin gods for me. Nothing has been non-addicting or disappointing yet from you folks (formerly SingleTrac - aka Jet Moto boys :)).

It's a good game and the ancient Greek mythology helps it's cool factor quite a bit... It's a lot like Prince of Persia to me.

PoP was great until the decided to go all goth and make combat a heavy focus.
GOW is combat heavy from the off so it feels good. Both are great titles that need to be experienced though.

For me, it's the mass slaughter of about 100 dudes on your screen at once with only 2 swords on your wrists.

PoP blows.. I'd ran into a bug in the game about 1/2 way through it that I would instantly die after taking one step off of a save point... I was so po'ed.. i didn't invest in any of the others... God of War has it's tedious moments..but it is extremely fluid and a great time...

Prince of Persia (the first one) was good, since then its been garbage. Like Isy said, they went from Persian adventure with some combat to combat heavy "im a badass" style gameplay.
I'm now back to the part where I had the most trouble the first time through - Pandoras Box (or at least thats where I believe I had mass problems).

Mmmm God of War is soo good. God of War 2 is equally as good, if not better. Such fun games.

God War is a great game, but I hardly find addicting. Once I had finished god mode and Challenge of the gods I stopped playing it.
