"GR: Moving along those lines, have you seen Devil May Cry 4? Do you have an opinion on it?"

YH: I have seen Devil May Cry 4, but it's basically a totally different philosophy from what we do. If you look at their trailer that they have online, you'll see that none of the enemies attack you. None of the enemies attack whatsoever. That's a game where the enemies only exist to provide a target for all of your combos, and they don't really do anything else. For us, we're a combat-action game; our enemies are alive, they think, they attack you, and if you don't actively defend yourself, you're going to die really quick. So it's a basic difference in philosophy. We're an action game, they're kind of a "let's see how stylishly we can show off these combos and get a high score" kind of thing. So if the people playing think that's stylish, then more power to them."

Are they a little mad at the fact that it's also coming to the 360, and they are thinking it will give Ninja Gaiden 2 a run for it's money?

Too me, what he says is funny & true.

nothing will give Ninja Gaiden 2 a run for its money. i don't even think DMC4 gives Ninja Gaiden a run for its money.

You can think?:p

I believe it will in sales... Most people seem to like the easy/fun ride that DMC games offer (Casuals) than the learning curve that makes Ninja Gaiden so difficult & frustrating (Hardcore)

DMC games were really wanted by many Xbox fans... Ninja Gaiden didn't do so well in sales on the Xbox.

I know that Ninja Gaiden 2 will be the better game though.

If you think DMC is easy or for the "casual" crowd, you obviously have never played any game in the series (DMC 2 doesn't counts), and therefore not qualified to comment on the series. Both Ninja Gaiden and DMC ( part 3 in particular ) will kick your ass if you have no skills.

That being said, I think Ninja Gaiden is the greatest action game ever made and is one of my favorite games of all time.

Thats what was fun about DMC though - the challenges. It would piss me off how much I sucked - but despite how bad I was, I kept going back for more because I refused to let the game get the edge on me ;)

Plus I didnt want to waste the money I spent on renting the DMC games :)

I owned the first DMC, and it was incredibly easy compared to Ninja Gaiden.

The bottom line is there is nothing casual about the DMC series.

You were incredibly poor at Ninja Gaiden then
DMC was the shit. I struggled with that ****, a huge leap going from one difficulty to the next.

Ninja Gaiden's moves took a lot longer to learn (It has way more depth) than what DMC had.... I mostly just shot at the baddies until they were dead in DMC... Not too difficult.

There is no way you can just shoot the bad guys in DMC, try it on DMD mode.

:lmao: Did you just shoot Nightmare 3 also ? Dude, like Isy says go play DMD and also try playing DMC 3 before you open your mouth. I have S ranked DMC 1 on DMD and SS ranked DMC 3 on DMD, after you have done any of those then you can talk to me.

I was never tryin to make any point of which is harder, just that DMC especially part 3 is in no way casual. And obviously you suck at Ninja Gaiden also from the way you talk and the fact that you dodged my question about the difficulty earlier.

Snip.

Dude... All I'm saying is that Ninja Gaiden on NINJA DOG (EASY) is harder than DEVIL MAY CRY ON NORMAL... To MOST PEOPLE, like ME!

Now get over yourself!

Also, you must have forgot to read a certain word = "I mostly just shot at the baddies until they were dead in DMC... Not too difficult."

Btw, it's in RED
