Not exactly but here is the story

I havent bought any recent games last one I bought was Madden 09 and Ive been playing COD4 with my hallmate. I stopped playing for two weeks due to finals. He brings over Dead Space in a attempt to play it. It says can not find update disc continue < is the only option. Then it says contact support and i cant do anything from there no buttons work to bring up the desktop and yes im still running the blades and Ive tried playing assassins creed and nothing happened still the same error message no games work

MORE INFO

1. I have NEVER been or tried to connected my 360 to internet
2. If download both fall 2008 and 2007 updates to CD-R and the 360 will not read them and i still get the same message.

Support is of no help all they did was refer me to the 2007 update and i got the 2008 update from DeaconBlades article via google

I was also suggested this and i made this attempt to connect after the fact of this error update message is there i never connected before though

No I can not connect it to Live because if tried via bridging an ethernet cable from laptop to 360 the connection says it is working but nothing happens

PLEASE HELP!

okay. my advice is to use a DVD-RW or CD-RW. try that. if that doesn't work, then i'd suggest seeing how much memory is on your memory unit. there's a set amount required for NXE. not saying that's it but trying to eliminate all possibilities helps.

you can get a hard drive for $20 in fact in a program for NXE update consoles without enough memory.

also, try to make sure the update file was saved properly on the current discs you have etc after trying the above methods.

last resort of course is to find out a way to connect to Xbox LIVE. there are some tech heads here that might be able to get you pass the bridge problems.

I can pick up and HD for $20?

also if i get this restorted im interested in getting into xbl is it possible or more like feasible to run it on dial up being thats all i have in dorm

Try This.

Also, check your burn speeds on your burning program and try to burn it slower, sometimes things get messed up going to fast on lower quality media.

One little problem I cant even access anything at all. I cant bring up the desktop no buttons work besides hitting A to continue where it says contact support

Also I just copy the filed to CD-R using windows explorer I dont think you can slow down the burn speed for that

you can't access XBL with dial-up so you'll have to have some form of broadband.

that's weird that it won't even let you into the Blades. ask support what the hard reboot code is for the 360.

It seems the reboot code only works when you have access to the desktop

Im sorry...but this is crap im about to selling this thing for another console

DeaconBlade

that might be your only option especially is Support has no clue.

I guess Ill wait try these options

1. Try a CD-RW or DVD-RW
2. Put dead space back in hoping it upgrades
3. Buy a ps3
