While I'm not an "expert" on Fantasy Football, I do enough research throughout any given week to give you advice with any questions you may have.
Paid "Experts" are wrong quite often. Ask any one of them about the TE-spot this season. They'll tell you that you shouldn't have drafted one in the first twelve rounds.
Please do not substitute my judgment for your own. You know your team better than I do and Fantasy Leagues differ substantially.
-You'll need to let me know how many teams are in your league.
-You'll need to let me know if there are any "points-per-reception", (PPR) stipulations or anything else out of the ordinary ...1pt/10 yds, 6pts/TD, D/ST points, etc.
-You'll need to give me your roster.
-You'll need to let me know if you're thinking about picking someone up off the Waiver Wire.
-You'll need to let me know who's available on your Waiver Wire.
I'm a Fantasy Baseball man. I'm much more confident about baseball than I am football. Should you have any baseball "Keeper League" questions, I will answer those as well.
For the premise of "full disclosure", I offer my record. Available here (http://profiles.sports.yahoo.com/).
There's a reason they call it "gambling", folks. Give me thirty bucks and I'll explain it to you... :lmao:

Roger that, amigo. I'll probably be re-setting my lineups in my numerous leagues, though. I'll keep this up in the background.

I might drop a Defense for a QB after this week, I'm starting Carolina since they are playing Detroit. Then i'll decide to drop a defense. I was thinking of picking up Matt Ryan but there is also Matt Cassell and Tyler Thigpen, who I think is going to go off from here on out. I really don't want Matt Cassell, I don't think he is that good..

Hmmm, your offering free advise on what we have as a FFT or FBT? I need to keep you in mind as well perhaps.

I don't see why you'd need to "hedge" against Drew Brees for the rest of the season. Brees has Green Bay, @ Tampa Bay and Atlanta over the next three weeks. I'm assuming that your playoffs will start after Week #14, in Weeks #15-16. Drew Brees has proven he can pass against Tampa. His stats only "dropped off" a little against Washington and Carolina. I would run Brees out there every time.
If you must hedge I'd go with Ryan in Week #13 @ San Diego. Thigpen faces Buffalo next week, and I'm not sure about that. Their defense had been depleted, but Thigpen is still very raw. He then goes on the road @ Oakland and @ Denver. Two excellent matchups, but why go away from Brees? If you're not sure about Cassell, you can't be sure about Thigpen.
If you do this, you'll have to play "matchups" with your Defenses. I see where you're going with the Defensive matchups, though. Anyone facing the Lions, Seahawks, Rams, Bengals, Chiefs, 49ers, Raiders and maybe the Bills, who has a "decent" defense will pick up turnovers and hold the teams they're facing to under 21 points.
I don't really see anyone worth dropping from your Wideouts or RB's. Those are all good "matchup" guys with solid TD-potential.
Personally? I wouldn't drop anyone. Play Tampa's "D" next week @ Detroit. Play Carolina @ Green Bay in Week #13, pick one of them against the other in Week #14, or find the best defense available vs. the teams I mentioned above.
Good Luck, Amigo!

Feel free. I'm much more knowledgeable about baseball, but football isn't too tough. It is all about matchups and team scoring. I can answer Keeper League questions for your FBL.

Like I said... I'd go with Ryan. If Thigpen does well this week, (he should), and next week (vs. Buffalo), and is still available for Weeks #13 & 14? That would make it a much tougher decision.
P.S.: Anytime, amigo!
