Devil May Cry 4 Announced for Xbox 360

I’ve said it was coming countless times over the past year, it seems that Capcom has finally admitted it.

Companies like Capcom are not being paid to keep their games exclusive to Sony most likely, unlike Square-Enix, but if Capcom and other companies start seeing huge profit opportunities on the Xbox 360, they’re going to ditch their cultural loyalty to the PlayStation, which is good news for everyone. Sony’s threats to developers no longer work now that they have a viable option to jump to in the Xbox 360.

I don't believe it !! That's the first I've heard anything of the sort. If this is some sick joke then it's not funny. Anyway it doesn't matter, because either way I'm still gonna buy it, whether it's PS3 exclusive or it comes to 360.

Yeah it's good for those that aren't getting a PS3, I think multiplatforming is the best way to go, you make more money and you give those that don't have both systems a chance to play great games

I know nothing about this example specifically but we've long establlished that unless a developer is owned by a platform expect titles to be multi. It's simple economics.

OMG, I just realized something absolutely awesome. This game is going to have some hardcore Achievements :woot: . Achievements for SS ranking all difficulty settings can certainly be expected :cool:. Kobayashi has already mentioned that DMC 4 will be the most difficult game in the series, and for that I'm thankful.

You can bet your life on it. This one is going to separate the men from the boys. I'm pretty sure there will also be an Achievement for beating the game on Dante Must Die or Nero Must Die mode. If you've played DMC 1 or DMC 3 then you know if you are lacking in skills you won't last even 15 seconds on DMD mode.

Man, that's a toughie. Gaiden takes it for me but only because Ninja's kick ass....... even they're not doing the ninja thing by avoiding stealth at all costs.

You can probably tell from my sig and avi that I'm an obsessed Ninja Gaiden fan. Ninja Gaiden has the best combat system of any action game, it's unparalleled. The moves require fighting game precision to execute, it has freaking Just Frame moves man.
It's like the Virtua Fighter of action games, it takes time and skill to master. Plus the enemy AI is so freakishly smart that it's sometimes creepy. However, I'm still a huge DMC fan and I look forward to DMC 4 with great anticipation.

People (Sony fans) hated me for posting about DMC4 coming to the 360 many times at Xbox.com.. I'm sure UNSCleric remembers the Capcom's PDF I gave as proof to show people... I wonder how those hating Sony fans feel now?

I remember it, and I remember people bashing me for the past 16 months or so for saying the same thing. The ignorant will continue to bash when it comes to MGS4 as well until that is finally admitted to as well.
