I just don't see what is so great about these graphics... I can post pictures of Splinter Cell: DA that looks better & have more detail than this game.

You really think that looks good? I can post pics of 360 games that look far better with better lighting & detail.

I agree, Mass Effect looks much better than this. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that this still looks gorgeous. (And who doesn't want Tomb raider mixed with MGS and some Parkour thrown in?)

Hey man... I'm not saying it's a bad game (That's to be discovered) It's just that I see the detail overall is lacking (Look at the faces/bodies/backgrounds), the textures are weak (Look that the red sleeve of his shirt) and the lighting is very sub-par (Lighting from the wall is mostly nonexistent on the characters)
I see too many Sony fans saying that this game destroys all 360 games in graphics, when that's not really the case at all... It doesn't even beat Splinter Cell: DA

can you watch the width of the images por favor. they screw up some code as you've seen with the other one  i had to delete it because it deleted the edit button.
so watch the width. this width is excessive. if you can, simply link to the image instead of posting it within the thread if the images are huge.

How a game looks is not always a reflection on the system. One game may look amazing while another looks like crap on the same system. It comes down to the graphics engine and how the developer uses the strength of the system.
Eg. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas versus Final Fantasy XII or God of War on the PS2. GTA looks like crap while FFXII and GoW look amazing.

Nah, Mike I wasn;t being aggressive. I was simply saying that the graphics go with the style of game. Besides, the game isn't scheduled for release til Q4 2007 and as far as I know, all images are from the E3 vid shown last year. They've got plenty of time to up the ante.

Sorry man, it's just that it's very hard to compare screens with links, and the bigger the image the better the detail or it's issues show up.

Very true... It does depend on the developer the most, as in style, gameplay, graphics that they can pull from the system's capabilities, but constrained hardware does limit them. Less RAM available (PS3) is not better than more RAM available (360)

It looks nothing like Crysis (which contrary to the prediction of one individual in these forums CANNOT come to consoles of this generation) but it's still about as good as a console can get.

I'd say you've ruined your own threads, as well this this forum.
Sorry but that needed to be said as many have been thinking it.
