Yeah mine RROD already. But I got a brand new one back that's so much quieter than my old one was. So far no problems with this one. I don't think the elite is really worth it anymore. You pretty much pay an extra 200 for a 120gb HD and a black console.

^ I agree... The HD Component cables are way overpriced & I can get HDMI cables for cheap & I would use that over component cables anyway... The Headset comes with the 1-year XBL package for $50 that most would get anyway, & most 360 owners already have a headset… I have 2 (one broke)

The Elite needs to come down another $50... At least the Arcade comes with a memory card.

I have yet to have any problems with my Elite. Matter of fact I have been lucky not to have any problems with any of my 360's. (knocks on wood)

I do like the fact that it came with a HDMI cable wince i refuse to pay the rediculaus amounts that they want for any HD components.

I think all the consoles should come down farther in price and not just the 360 either. If the PS3 comes down an extra 50-100 bucks, then I might get one. We already have a WII comeing for free, so all I will need is a PS3. By the time I get back the PS3 should be in the right price range to warrant it.

I saw CC selling the 360 Arcade Edition for $179 yesterday.

Finally a sane price point for this now 3 year old generation.

this is why the next gen is far away imo.. there is no point to push the next gen when this gen still isn't affordable to most consumers..
