How does that remind you of Final Fantasy? There are no similarities besides them both being JRPG's.

Anyway that looks really sweet !! I can't wait to get my hands on it. I hope these developers will continue to feed my rpg obsession :) .

as far as I know this is a real-time combat game and FF titles have been turn-based. They have a slightly similar visual style but they're not difficult to tell apart.
This also appeals to me more than FF titles for being real-time [turn-based gameplay is a pet peeve of mine]
