Stopped by EB games and saw Jake (Practorian) to buy (3) 1600 point cards in advance of the Oblivion content. I told him of the PS3 supply debates going on here and I asked him to post the current status of them at his store. Look for his comments later today.

You may be asking why do I not simply buy points from the Dashboard? First is to support the local brick and mortar shops and secondly is to deny MS the extra profit margin of selling them direct.

No. :(

Half will be gone with Oblivion alone.

Yeah, it was either the points or GRAW2.

Oblivion >>>>>>>>>>>> GRAW

I would have done the same funnily enough. I just don't like buying DLC period. I suppose I have to get used to it though as it is getting more and more common.

New achievements were it's saving grace. Without them there is no way I would buy it.

As long as you devote the time to Oblivion, I dont see it as a bad purchase.

We'll see how much time it adds. They said Knights of the Nine added 8 hours and people did it in 3.

At any rate the expansion (that is 50% the price of the original) will NOT add 50% more gametime to justify the price.
