Gears of War - I need 2 Volunteers

A little while ago I hinted at something I had brought up to a friend of mine and we decided to make it happen along with several other friends.

I'll detail this in a little bit but for now I need to people from the community who are good at Gears of War and who won't mind setting aside some time to help me with this.

I'm excited about everyone loving the idea already and I'm sure you all will too. You never know how these brainstorms of mine will turn out but I'm happy to report that everyone who is now part of the idea, loves it.

So, who's willing to volunteer some time in April playing some Gears of War with me?

here's the deal. a few weeks ago I was playing a little Fuzion Frenzy with a friend (Godfree) and brought up the idea to him that we should do a Battle of the Podcasts event that would bring a lot of the independent podcasters together for a battle. i didn't think it would turn around so quickly but quite a few of the indie podcasters around came on board the idea after Godfree emailed everyone about it.

Uncle Gamer Radio, Podtacular, Gamer Andy, GTR, Xbox 360 Fanboy and a few others as well.

We decided that each team would have 3 members. Some of the other podcasts have a big staff but me, well I'm just me so I told them I'd reach out to the U360 community for my additional teammates.

So I need 2 people to help me win the first Battle of the Podcasts. This whole idea is just something we all thought would be cool for the community to see that all of the indie podcasts support one another etc...a lot of community fun. So i really don't care about winning....but moreso you guys getting involved with it alongside me.

I would love to help but reflect back on the first unscripted nights w/ GoW and the curb stomps someone gave me.... :p

You know that I'm deffinetly there for you Deacon. I remember the fun we had with the last after party. I just wish I could remember who was there with us because I know somebody was pretty leet at it. BTW, Gears is my drug of choice currently.

I would be willing to help, although I have not played the game in a month or two it shouldn't take more then a game to get back in the swing. I am much better in R6 however.
