Do you need a PS2 memory card and the adapter or can you save your games to the HDD?

If you have PS2 memory cards you need to buy the Memory Card adapter to transfer the saves over. I bought one to transfer my saves over, then sold my adapter for nearly the same price I paid. I bought it for $15, sold it for $14. If you don't have PS2 memory cards, then you simply need to create one on the PS3 hard drive (it partitions it, but only by the size of a 8MB card), so don't worry about losing storage over PS2 saves, it takes up very little space (coming from a guy who had to transfer over 3 full 8MB cards, and 1 full 16MB card).
But, be sure if you are transferring memory cards over that its a memory card that doesn't require a CD boot-up. What I mean by that is I had a 16MB Intec memory card that required a disc boot-up before playing a game. If you have one of those cards, transfer the files over to a card that doesn't require a boot-up and that will allow for you to transfer them over to the PS3 HDD.

Where is the headset plugged in at? Does it take a standard headset plug in or different interface?
