It looks incredible. By far the best looking game in terms of style on the 360.

I've been following that game for quite some time, it's on my most wanted games list. I love JRPGs. I can't wait for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Trusty Bell. :woot:

Funnily enough, prior to Morrowind I couldn't stand rpg's. Now I love 'em. Save for the turn-based ones, I just can't 'feel' them. Thankfully this is real-time combat.

I love RPG's, whether turn-based or real-time, I can't get enough of them.

I loved Oblivion, Fable, and the GTA series.
These asian games are of no interest to me.

Wait... this has to be said = Doesn't the PS3 mostly have Asian games coming, so does that mean you have no interest in the PS3?

Its definitely an acquired taste. But I bet even you were a little breathless when seeing Ninja Gaiden for the fist time ;)
I'm assuming you mean these heavy anime style games, in which case I'd agree with you. I can't say I've played anything so heavily stylized as anime.

ZERO interest in PS3. Thus I do not have one nor will I be getting one (or a Wii either).
I'm a 360 user and have the gamerscore to prove it.
Shocked? You shouldn't be, this is what I have said all along.

I know you've said it... Saying and acting are two different things.

I own a 360, a 360 doesn't own me.
I've never gotten a loyalty check from MS, have you?

No, but they have listened to my wants & needs as a gamer and have shown that they care more than Sony. I see/talk to many Xbox representatives but have yet to hear of any Sony people showing that they care... That's why I have a high respect for the way Microsoft is doing things compared to the cold malice Sony.
Microsoft is more loyal to my gaming interests than Sony ever was and still is.

People on forums who somehow work for or with Microsoft... People in the know, Major Nelson or people who work in the XBL Arcade team for example.

I agree with you on a certain extent there.
I've yet to have my issues resolved in regards to the 360's Live service. I've mentioned it dozens of times but no-one seems to take notice so my experience differs widely to yours.

What is the problem.. I have many friends that have XBL with no issues what so ever.

You aren't paying more with less than half the content ;)

No different than what Sony does in Japan by favoring the PS3... The 360 is from a U.S. company and they will first release new items/features here to test them... Then one day you may get them afterwards.

LIVE features are so much easier to bring to other regions than a piece of Hardware is.

I sure if Microsoft could, they would.. Ask yourself "Why would Microsoft limit themselves from making $$$ for the U.S. only?"
There could be other things involved... Like Country policies/rules/Laws that can get in the way of those LIVE features we have in the U.S.

I agree, I'm well aware of the restrictions that MS would have to go through, so why aren't they going through them? Or better yet, why aren't they giving us some form of compensation?

I don't know... It may be in the process and that it takes time. Maybe your country is delaying or putting it on the back burner by not giving Microsoft the O.k... It's details like this we would love to know, but either way it may not make Microsoft look good OR your country. So possibly this may be it, and the reason why Microsoft keeps their mouths shut on that subject.

I'm pretty sure they've confirmed the stuff is coming later this year. My problem with it is the lack of fairness in the two differing regions.

Isn't that with everything that comes from Japan also... Isn't it usually worse?

Do you mean games? Because the issue with them revolves around translating the content into a number of different languages. And Japan is a very niche region when it comes to the the style of game they like there, you don't need me to tell you it's very obscure.

No, but the Japanese are very well versed in the English language, and can have both languages on the same game... What's stopping them from doing that?
It all comes down to them favoring their own country... Maybe Europe needs their own Console maker.;)

I think you need a quick course in European literacy. There's more than just English spoken in Europe. To get the translations of each language would take months.

Oh, I know that... Same for the U.S. but no game has all those languages.

Every game, or at least the large majority have a minimum of 5 languages on them.

French/English/Spanish = That is what most of them have that I've seen.

Italian, French, Dutch, Spanish, English and there's probably one I've forgotten.
Even just doing the translations for 3 languages would add a minimum of a month and that's with numerous people working solid shifts.

I prefer Japanese RPG's. With the exception of Bioware's games I don't really care for western RPG's.
