Its a temp. price drop. A lot of stores had Halo 3 for $40 a few weeks after release as a special price.

I was tempted to go pick it up, but I can snag a copy cheaper than that on eBay. Rather get GRID first.

Almost all well known game stores are matching this price. Sears, Target, Amazon, GameStop, EB are stores so far going for the $39.99 price. I am extremely tempted to pick it up now. If someone would just post a used copy on Amazon for $30 I'm sold.

Unfortunately Amazon charges sales tax on NY now so I will be purchasing a lot less from them (directly). The lack of sales tax has saved me well over $1500 with them.
