So far, it looks like it.

The building looks much better on the 360 version but the actual mech looks better on the PS3 version IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if the 360 version is better though.

I don't hate the PS3, I dislike what Sony has become... I hope they become better & do better next time.
Btw... I didn't make this article, just posted it.

Apparently heat haze and reflections don't exist in 4D.

Yeah, the PS3 is really proving that potential.

Really, you don't... relying on games of the past on a certain console to think one will have superior controls over the other, when it's really up to those developers... is the most ignorant thing that could ever be thought.
Or did it take thinking at all?

the games of the past dictate what the game controls will be for future titles...while the control scheme is set, tweaked, and updated with all the Armored Core games of the past, I know what to expect with the PS3 version.. one the other hand the 360 version has not had the same luxury..so I expect growing pains...

That's dumb... The 360 pad has TWO analog sticks = YEP, just like the PS3... 2 shoulder buttons = YEP! 2 shoulder triggers = YEP! A start button = YEP! Rumble = YEP, but not yet for the PS3.
Dude, get a clue... It's up to the developers to get the controls down for both systems... Developing on the PS3 has NO relations to the PS2, nor do the AC games.

Rainbow Six Vegas has the same control scheme as Rainbow Six 3... so do a TON of sequels....I'm not saying that they can't do it.. I'm saying the controls will be the same on the ps3 as on the ps2... while you don't know what to expect control wise... except for the overrated rumble feature you so covet..

It's not overrated if it's necessary to know when being hit from behind... You would feel that in real life also, wouldn't you? On the PS3 my screen flashes red for a second and I should automatically think I'm being hit from behind?
Yeah, just as I thought... It's not overrated for games, just in your mind.

In real life your head also starts hurting.
Its a feature thats being used a little too carelessly. Take crackdown for example. I turned off the rumble as every little thing would anger my pad and cause it to go psycho.

rumble is not necessary.. it's an add on feature that I don't even really pay attention to any more...

Yet, I gave an example of OBLIVION that makes RUMBLE very important.

Oblivion only deals with the horizontal plane, what happens when you play a title that has you navigating all directions? Its still a primitive feature, good but theres a long way to go before it becomes something gaming can't live without.

Well the PSONE & PS2 didn't live without it and many of those games utilize rumble... Doesn't the PS3 play those games, or are those games unnecessary because they are such a Last Gen feature?

Has rumble changed in any way since the playstation? It needs a shitload of work before it becomes something I can't live without in my games.

I don't know... I've liked it since the N64.

Wrong forum. This crap needs to be moved.
But...just like every other time we've seen the same game compared between consoles certain elements look better on each. This is no different as Biggie pointed out.

the ps1 controllers didn't initially have rumble feature or dual analog..they redesigned the controller...
