report post feature

I reported a post in that was actually very good but it seems to have vanished? I reported it because I figured it was something the mods would appreciate but I was surprised to find its gone, either that or I'm looking in the wrong place.

When you do report a post, there is the option of stating the reason why that post was reported. Please in the future, let us know the reason why you reported it. That is vital. I doubt it is still in our database. But could you tell me what the thread was called? Oh and for future reference, the report post button is solely for reporting a bad post or thread. Spam, Flaming, Pornography, and anything else against the CoC. If you would like to let someone know they have a good thread, use the PM button

I thought the report post feature was to be used for any post that needed looking at? At least thats how it worked over at xbox.com. If a post was created that was really good, you reported it and praised it.

I also gave a reason (pretty lengthy too) as to why it was reported, unfortunately I can't recall which thread it was in. My bad.

Unfortuantely Isy, I have been in Chicago all weekend and haven't been into my email yet as I am unable to check it from work, they have it blocked :(..

So maybe as 32 man said do you have a name of the thread?

Or 32, I can check my email when I get home and pm you the topic if is is included in the reported email if you deleted yours..

That's awfully kind of you. All I can vaguely recall is that it was a thread in the console wars section. Nothing offensive at all considering its location, it was very polite.

aw man, it was really post to quell all the bickering. I only reported so you guys would know I'd try to end it. Ah well, no big loss. :d

my experience is that you can't stop the ridiculous bickering no matter how hard you try :lol: you can only hope to maintain it.
