lmao The best soccer game I ever played was this japanese game that was on N64, my homeboy had a modded one and that game was off the chain, niether one of us knew what was being said but once you hit one of them special kicks and the the ball turned into a fire dragon and some other over the top finisher, it was over unless you knew how to stop it, which we didn't 3 out of 5 times

It's likely the old skool J-league games, back when they were fun, which is funny cause they sell more now
I prefer Konami's stuff for its simluation style, its more like the real thing.

Yeah, if only Konami could get more things licensed like EA.

I'm not really bothered with licensing issues, I'd rather they spend the money on the gameplay which they've done an excellent job of. It would be nice to have full teams with their proper names but its not essential for me.

Same here, but having more teams and leagues would be great.

Yeah now that hurt a lot in the 360 version of Pro evolution soccer/Winning Eleven. The PS2 edition managed to get more teams, more editing/customising options, a save replay feature and an online mode that wasn't laggy.
The 360 edition got severely hampered editing option (none I think).
Less than 60 teams (I'm just guessing but it is under half the amount of the PS2 version)
No save replay feature (which would have rocked, especially with LIVE)
ANd the game lagged, and not just online too. I play against my brother offline and even he's noticed it slowiing down to a snails pace.

In the endi its still the only soccer game on the 360 worth my time and I love it. It has its flaws but I have to forgive, theres nothing else other than it

I think I was a little quick to judge this.
It actually plays out pretty well once you get used to reverse controls (X button crosses and B shoots).
The animation is really good and the pace of the game is nice. It still feels a little off but there's no doubt this is second only to the Konami great, Winning Eleven.

best soccer game I played was Fifa 98 Road to the World Cup... it was Fifa and Fifa World Cup before they split into two games.. Fifa 2006 was a great game as well..the PS2, Xbox version..not the Xbox 360...

I just cant believe in less than 2 years, EA has released 4 soccer games on the 360. Talk about milking it.

Funny thing is I hated Road to the World Cup, but enjoyed World Cup.

Either way, no soccer for 360 for me. I got World Tour Soccer 06 on my PSP for $8, I've been just playing that. Sure its nowhere near the sim quality, but the medal mode is fun.

Winning Eleven is on my list...

Played the demo of it on 360, felt no different than EA's product.

Thats just me.

Winning eleven is untouchable in terms of gameplay, content goes to Fifa.
And world tour soccer is incredible on the PSP

I wouldnt go as far as saying incredible. Its smooth, but its a pretty basic game.

No complaints here, kills off time on my breaks @ work.

Do you have challenge or the first one? Challenge is awesome, it has little minigames that really add to the gameplay.

Medal Mode right? Games like Shot Clock, All Around, etc...

Its World Tour Soccer 06 in simple terms :)
