Jeuxvideo(some French web site) got to spend 3 days with the game and they wrote a lengthy preview. I tried to translate it using one of the translation sites. It didn't translate well but I was able to read some of it.

-Some of the cut-scenes will be interactive
-Apparently some of the cut-scenes can last up to 30 min. Now I've enjoyed most of the cut-scenes in the MGS series but that seems to be pushing it.
-There will be 4 difficulty levels.
-Levels are more open than previous games.
-Apparently the DS3 makes for a more better experience because of rumble.

I'm sure there was more info buried in there but it was a mess and hard to read.

Here are some new screens. They aren't the greatest quality but they're new never-the-less.

Like I said many times before (If you look) they put all emphasis on the characters while the surroundings/color look like poo

There has definitely been more emphasis on the character models. Kojima has said that he would like to spend more time on the graphics but time's running out.

Yeah Viper... I Hope it plays better than it looks, but if it feels the same as all the other MGS games in this day & age, I feel it will be a big letdown to many.

This is my most anticipated game right now.

On a side note (still MGS related though), my Metal Gear Solid 2 soundtrack arrived in the mail today :) I'm a fan of the MGS music.

I have the MGS3 soundtrack. It has some pretty good music on it.

30 minutes...come on now. That's pushing it just a bit don't you think. If I wanted to watch a movie I would watch a movie. I want to be in the action not a spectator for the most part. I guess we'll have to wait and see how these interactive cut scenes will work out.

ehh 30 minute cutscene might be a bit much.. but it's tough to determine how bad or good it will be without seeing it..

Really? Even more anticipated than GTA IV?

I've always liked the MGS games better than GTA games.

I've been saying it from the start, all Kojima is going to do is fill the disc with feature length cut-scenes. MGS3 had over 3 hours worth of cut-scenes so expect double or triple that for MGS4. The MGS series is famous for that.

I just read GTA 4 has over 7 hours of cutscenes. Geez!

There's going to be a limited edition of the game offered only through Gamestop. It'll cost $85 and include the official soundtrack and an extra disc with two behind the scenes documentaries. It also has better looking box art compared to the standard edition. I'd like to have the soundtrack but $85 is too expensive.

There will also be a very limited edition "gunmetal grey" PS3 bundle offered as well.

You can find all of the information and different box arts at the PS Blog.

Here's a new trailer. It's in Japanese and the video quality is low. There's a lot of old footage a long with some new stuff. The trailer is kind of depressing.
