Anyone checking this game out? Not the new retail game, but the arcade game hitting PSN and XBLA. It's looking pretty damn good.
We've seen this before with Prince of Persia, remaking 2D game for the next gen but this one is definitely looking to be a pickup for me. Just hope the controls are good. Please for the love of god dont be similar to Contra on 360.

I'm really looking forward to it. The fact that it's a Capcom game, makes it an instant purchase for me.

Well I did buy it for PSN. Man this game can get frustrating at times (most of it is just control issues). But the challenges are a lot of fun.
Now just to get 1942 Joint Strike and Wolf of the Battlefield Commando 3.

Got the demo and like it a lot! Like the mini games too.

I love it, but then I loved it on the NES. It's my favorite XBLA game. I like Braid a lot too but it's starting to get really hard.

You and me both.
Boss fights are pretty cool. I like the one where you have to unscrew bolts off this construction type machine.

it plays better on the PS3... this game shows how bad the d-pad really is.

While I'm not disagreeing that the PS3 has a better d-pad I'm not sure why you'd be using the D-pad at all when joysticks are so much better. I played the original tons and one of the things I love most about this version is that I DON'T have to use a d-pad.

the analog is not nearly as responsive as I'd like it...

i'm still on the fence about this. it looks pretty good visually but i don't know if gameplay can sustain me.
