as many of you already know ..I am a die-hard pittsburgh sports enthusiast...my pens are on fire right now going 10-0-2 in the last 12 games....what some of you may not know is that the franchise is in jeopardy of losing the team to another city...I think it's safe to say that this would greatly upset alot of us steel city supporters...keeping the city of champions intact is something that I am very passionate about and I have been doing what small efforts I can to ensure this...anyone who reads this who is a pens lover like me, from the pittsburgh area, or just an nhl fan please look into http://saveourpens.com/ and let your voice be heard....:help:

well the streak is over...we finally lost today to the isles 6-5...:(
what can I say it was a fun month and a half....and the season as well as the future of the franchise is still in the air...thnx to anyone who viewed this thread and I guess you can lock it up now deac.....lol....:grouphug:

Pens are remaining in Pittsburgh. New Arena deal signed last night.

I'm happy to see them remain in PIT - wouldnt be the same bashing Mario in a different city.

bashing Mario... bah! He was better than Wayne.. and if he didn't get cancer, he would have destroyed Wayne's records... Wayne had the benefit of such a great team around him in Edmonton.. Mario had no one until the early 90's...

here is what I witnessed at the mellon arena tonight...(and I was only 2 rows from the glass) ....the pens 40th win and 90th point of the year...4 goals in the 3rd period....sid's 30th and 31st goal (including his first empty netter)...and quite possibly the greatest goal ever scored in the igloo....what a game...:irish:

may post some pics later if anyone is interested...probably only dj....lol...
