I loved the first 2 SOF games for the PC and this one looks interesting, but is it worth the money?
To me it just looks like a good fun shooter game when you are getting your drink on and just want to shoot sh*t and blow stuff up. But who here has played it and could tell me their honest opinions about it.
Should I wait until the price really comes down? (If so why)
Should I take a chance and try it out?

Crap, placed this in the wrong section. Can someone move this to the 360 section please?

I was playing this last night when I was absolutely hammered and it was hilarious. I love the game, but it's got some problems, but I love almost all shooters.

I liked the first two and this one just came down to 30.00, I might buy it after x-mas. either this game or PGR4, depends.

I'm renting Payback off GameFly. I have to say, it's not bad for a cheap pickup. It has many flaws and problems, some of which are:
- Choppy framerate at some scenes
- Aiming can stutter
- Controls a little odd
But, you can find this game for super cheap on both PS3 and 360. I'll probably just stick with a rental, but if you find it for under $20 and all you want is your everyday shoot 'em up, I'd say go for it.
I know this is an old thread, but hey, its on topic :coolguy:

The last mission in the game is insane. One friggin' shot and you're pretty much dead.
i had a good time with this game. lot of blood and limbs flying everywhere. online was fun too, but probably dead by now..
