hey at the end of the article, microsoft plans on it going global. ( just when is the question )

I hope they just keep it up with the rewards. I mean, just this first part then drop the whole thing would be wrong.

Look at the Xbox dimond cards ( I have one, but haven't used it once) It was free. and looks nice with your gamertag on it, but there hasn't been any talk since.

That's going to be BS, some people are just going to try and reset there 360, the play King Kong, and any other game with easy achiements. Or maybe renting games that you don't have can get you some points. I know I don't have time for it, they should give us prizes for he points we have, so the all the people that boosted to get their points wouldn't have went through all of that for nothing, but at least they are giving us something

Awesome. I hope I can win.

1,500 points is nothing.

Does it mean 10,000GS since January 1st of this year, or since 2/12/06?

Is it a race to see who can get 1,500 first, or do they wait until the end and then all those people who were able sign up are randomly chosen, or does it mean that if you get into the sign-up, you're set and have two months?

This seems a little cheesy to me but maybe because of the Old Spice sponsor ship.
Imagine how point crazy we all are going to go for a month. 1500 points is not that easy of a feat. Granted that there are games that pratically hand out points, it is still going to probably take most level ones and level twos the entire given month to complete the challenge. Yet still, it is within reach of all gamers. Thus this is why it is a brilliant marketing scheme. Everything Microsoft does is to encourage gamers to play more, whether it be silly competitions like the Old Spice rewards or the xbox live calendar events. More people playing, more people on live, more people on the marketplace buying xbla games to get a higher gamerscore. Am I complaining, no. All I am saying is that it is a welcome attitude towards gamers; not forgetting them after they buy your games/console.
