For those who missed out on the debut, I have but one word....YOU MISSED THE MOST FUN EVER!
Ok, so maybe that was more than one word but it had to be said because for those who didn't make it, you missed out on an extremely fun time!

Unscripted Nights and its debut was perhaps the most fun I've had on Xbox Live in a very long time and that sentiment was echoed by everyone who got an opportunity to participate.
I want to again thank everyone for making it a success! I'm currently planning the next Unscripted Nights event so stay tuned to U360 for more on that!
In the meantime, I wanted to share some of the experiences that a few of those who attended had about the debut of Unscripted Nights. COG Town! (you had to be there to get this)
"I had a good time last night I wish I got more kills in last night but other than that it was fun. Everyone was nice and fun to play with. I hope to do it again. Please let me know if you guys do it again." -midnight1979
"I just wanted to say I had a great time on the first Unscripted Nights. It's been a while since I had that much fun on Xbox Live. I had a big smile through the night. Deacon welcomed everyone that wanted to join, even if it meant leaving his character wide open for a headshot. ( the other player missed and the clock's time ran out for a draw ) I think all of us tried going after Deacon just for fun. I got to meet friends from the Unscripted message boards and it was awesome to play with them for the first time. I can't wait until next time to get another chance to play. Unscripted Nights is a success. Keep up the great work Deacon." -DragoonXGears
"9 o'clock. I have plans at 9 on Friday." That is what I have been telling my fiancee for the past few days. That is what I told myself at work Friday as the day slowly ticked by. Was I waiting for the weekend to head out to a bar with the guys to get smashed? No. Instead I was looking forward to getting curbed stomped at the first "Unscripted Nights" Xbox 360 event. At 9pm I kissed my fiancee as she went to the back room to watch "The Devil Wears Prada". I charged up the 360 as I took a sip of my drink of the night, iced water. Yep, you heard me, water. I must stay alert.... I must stay focused, for I have many curb stompings to do tonight. There I waited for Deacon to start-up a room and send the invite. I spent some time navigating the dashboard as I waited...and waited....and waited. Finally I heard the sound of the invite and quickly accepted. There in the lobby of the "Gears of War" match I saw familiar names from the forums, but here I was talking and playing with them on Live for the first time.
As Deacon started up the first match, we all new it would be an interesting one since we were all hopping and skipping all over not out of joy but lag. <Uhg> Next game, Sirharper, came to the rescue and hosted. No lag, but I found myself wishing for the lag back as I stunk up the place and did worst than I did before. Wait a minute. Is that laughing I'm hearing from everyone? Yes it is! This is a strange thing that I never felt in a "GOW" match. There were no screaming in the mic by kids. There were no F' bombs being thrown as I was killed. We're losing, but having a blast doing so. This...this was great! This is what multiplayer matches on Live are suppose to be like!....and then Sirharper kicked us out by the order of Deacon. However, it was in a good way. Deacon was wanting others to come in and have a great time with "Unscripted Nights". As I jumped out the room, I noticed Luigiman6767 playing a match of "GOW". I met Luigi on the Xbox forums earlier. He was new to the 360 and sadly had his break down only after three days and needed to get it swapped. I thought I would jump in and play a few rounds with him as I wait to get back into "Unscripted Nights". There were some nice guys on my team that eased the reality that we were losing to some annoying kids. After a few matches against these kids that I wanted to take the chainsaw to, I heard that beautiful sound again as I was invited back into "Unscripted Nights".
I finished my match and jumped back into the "Unscripted Nights" lobby. In the process I invited Luigiman6767 for I wanted him to enjoy a 'fun' "GOW" match and meet Deacon and the other members. It once again was a blast litterally as I took shotgun pops to the face, but there we were laughing the whole time. Then I heard my fiancee coming out of the back room saying she just wasted almost two hours of her life on that movie and she wanted it all back. Two hours? No, it couldn't have been two hours. She must be mistaken. It was more like 30 mins. I was shocked to see that two hours really did just fly by. I was tempted to distract her with another movie, but decided sadly to call it a night since I had to get up early for a busy day. So, there it was .....one "Unscripted Night" event down and what I hope to be many more. To all those that I killed and those many more who killed me, thanks for a great time and I look forward to my revenge next time on whatever game Unscripted Nights will bring." -Green Lantern4
"Deac you were well prepared and wanted to make it real official. Well you accomplished it. The games that I was in were great, while sharing laughs and inside jokes with others from the forums. No lag was noticeable, teams were pretty well balanced. Over all I had a good time, although next time we should play a game like CoD3 where the lobby allows for more people to be in, instead of having people waiting and waiting for invites back into the game." -Pvt Jokar

"Unscripted Nights was truly a blast, I had alot of fun and couldn't stop laughing. It was my first time experiencing GoW online and the gamers I played with made it very enjoyable and they were always willing to lend a hand if I had a question. "Unscripted Nights was a really fun event for me. At first it was hard to get in a match since everyone seemed to want to get a piece of Deaconblade, but in the end, I finally was able to join. The community night in general was very fun and turned out to be one of the funnest community nights I have ever participated in. The game went well, I experienced no lag which made the overall experience of the gaming night totally awesome! I had a fabulous time, and I can't wait till the next Unscripted Night." -m4rk0551
"The event was a top-to-bottom success. It was great being able to interact on a more personal level with people we see on the U360 site. I was more than happy to be able to act as host, and hope to be able to do it again next time provided I have the next game to be played. I do think you should get a new Live account for the event, just to keep your own sanity in managing the participants. If needed maybe break it up into 2-3 groups with group leaders and then have people switch between the groups on a cycle like we did. That way people aren't really waiting around to be called as much." -Sirharper
