The HD law

First a little back story on why i thought of this law.

I just got a new HD LCD tv about a week ago. Before the HD i was playing on a 36in flat tube SDTV (a perfectley fine tv in my mind at the time). Well after being bathed in the HD glow of my new tv for a week it made me realize just how bad my old tv was. I also realized that i was doing a great injustice to my 360 by chaining it to to such a low resolution SDTV. Now I realize that not everyone can just go out and drop money on an HDTV, so I propose a law that goes something like this.

Thou shalt game on an HDTV only. If thou does not have an HDTV then thou shalt do thy best to aquire an HDTV by any means necessary, including but not limited to:
1. Selling thy kidney on the "Black Market".
2. Selling siblings on the "Black Market" (or if thou have children, rent them out to a sweat shop)
3. "Working the corner" (dont laugh guys, that includes us too)
4. Writing a really long apology not to Santa in hopes that you get put on the "Nice List"
5. Putting thy wife/girlfriend on mail order bride site. (sorry ladies, if they do mail order husbands then this could be changed to "spouse/significant other")
6. Putting it as the ONLY item on wedding/baby gift registry list.

Just putting it out there. I know its kinda long, feel free to shorten it or change it or whatever.

I could have an HDTV right now but I got a new PC instead. I guess if this law passes then it will be the first law that I have broken.

I have an HDTV and I support it. But what happens to all the 360 Law Enforcers and Xbox 360 owners who dont have an HDTV? They all break the law. :peace:

I too say veto, unless the 'Thou shalt game on an HDTV only' is taken out and replaced with something more neutral. The Xbox 360 was made for both HDTV and SDTV.
plus, i play on a SDTV.

You should have had an HDTV on the old XBOX (yes, it too could produce 1080i).

I didnt mean to sound "elitist", it was supposed to funny hence the selling of ones kidneys or siblings. Like I said I had an SD until last week, so I played my 360 on it for over a year. I was just amazed at the difference that HD makes, it was like I had gotten a whole new console. So sorry if i came off "elitist", I was just throwing in my two cents. If it made anybody laugh then thats good enough for me.
