About 4 days late ;)

I did buy the new Motorstorm content though - $6 for 2 new modes, 9 new races, 5 new cars, and 1 track (a reversal) has been the best deal so far when it comes to DLC on the next gen for me. First DLC I purchased since the 360 launched. Up until now the content on both platforms was either useless or a ripoff.

The Rainbow DLC was / is free on the 360 and there were several worthwhile offerings out there that were / are priced well. Just my personal thoughts.

I like Stranglehold, but it's way too over-the-top to be taken seriously and it gets pretty annoying. They should have toned down the enemies and the number of them, cause I'm only on the third level and it's getting ridiculous.

It originally cost money....and besides I didnt play Rainbow online much so therefore it would fall under the "useless" category for me.

I'm just saying that you can't categorically say that all DLC is a rip off. Most of it is good content at good prices. It's the EA's of the world that give DLC a bad name.

Again...

Up until now the content on both platforms was either useless or a ripoff.

I categorize DLC in two ways - ripoff or useless.

GRAW DLC is a ripoff - why? We paid $60 for the game, if this is next gen, those rehashed maps should have been included.

Lumines Live DLC is a ripoff - why? Its already expensive as a game, and to even have more depth you need to pay.

R6 DLC is useless - why? I dont play it online often

RFOM DLC is useless - why? I have never played the game online

Motorstorm DLC is worthy - why? Its a game I play additively both on and offline

PGR3 Speed Pack was worthy - why? Few new modes, new cars for a cheap price.

And once again variation occurs. I am more of a single player gamer, while you seem to be more of a MP kind of guy compared to me. You might find it worthy because you would actually play the DLC - why would I buy the R6 DLC if I only play the MP every 3-4 months for maybe a 1 day span?

Nah, I buy and play online and offline stuff. I have tended to be more of a single player and Live arcade gamer as of late. Nothing out their MP wise that is really blowing up my skirt. You tend to be very critical of all things DLC and there is nothing wrong with that. I tend to be more of a proponent of buy what you like and if it is of value to you than at the end of the day it was worth it.

I enjoyed the Oblivion DLC, however I carefully proved at the time it was a total ripoff in terms of cost:gametime.

I bought it because I enjoyed the game more than any other 360 title to date but I can in no way justify logically it's cost. It was a very poor value.
