I was talking with Thumpthis and we had planned on doing our own clan a long time ago for all clan compatible games but since then we have joined this awesome family here at U360 we were wondering if everyone here who gets COD4 would be interested in making a COD4 clan. Do you go in an kill the hostiles and blow up stuff with a grenade. I saw a guy pick up a bomb and take off on a run as well. Is there a bomb for each section? What's the Skulls, is that the enemies and we're on defence?

Yeah the Bomb shows up one member picks and you get to one of the place and set the bomb then you have to defend it then it blows and u win.Oh yeah by the way if the person gets killed another member can pick up the bomb to finish the job

Capture the flag is alot like battlefield as there are flags you have to capture and you have to defend,it's a blast,bad when a beta is better than some full games:evillaugh:

I'm all for practice, some buddies an I went through GRAW 2 and started giving places names, so we could do better job talking during a match. That's why I wonder if we could get in a smaller 2 on 2 game and not battle but look around more and figure out some things or we can group 4 or 6 together and get on the same team in a battle perhaps and try and learn as we go.

LOL Trust me I will get 25 kills in a match but have 25 deaths at the same time LOL. I just think its a good way to get the community together on live and have a good time. And smack around another community sometime ;) LOL.

It will be fun Deac, I got your back man (means your my shield...), the team matches are great, less run & gun and more fun in my book. Plus you have 6 targets to worrry about instead of 11 in Free-For-All.

I am more interested in playing Halo3 than COD4 and would hope that a U360 clan would play many games throughout its time. IMO in the short time I have been away everything looks a litle rushed. I still have faith everything will work. I would of liked to seen a vote on a name :)

What part do you feel is rushed? The talk about myspace was along with the Livespace , which is just another form of getting the name and info out there. This is all still a work in progress by far and nothing was ever said about it being strictly a COD 4 clan it can carry through to any game that supports Clans. As far as the name goes I posted up some suggestions that I could think of Trying to incorporate Deacon and the Blades in it. It stayed up for 2 days and the majority that posted about it wanted DDB as the name so it was fair game for anything.

My gut tells me a developers choice to allow the addition of a prefix in front of your name is not a factor any online leagues take into consideration. For the record COD4 isnt even the only game in beta that allows the addition of a prefix not to mention there are current titles that have it as well.

Sounds a little crazy to me to hit the ground running with a game only a limited people have access to. Not to the mention the game is not even due out for at least another two months. No organized leagues or other gaming websites are going to be running this game till it launches.

Will we be registering for ladders like gamebattles when they add a ladder for the final game? There are some unruly folks on there, but for the most part it's a lot of fun. Lot different than just playing the game casually.

Used to play the GRAW and r6 ladders over there myself, took the tournament one season.

Since you haven't played the best things I can tell you that I have learned so far from the beta......now these are all just my thoughts so take them however LOL.
1 the best gun for all maps except vacant IMO is the M-16 Due to the fact it uses the burst fire and is extremely accurate. "But im learning with the M-4 you can tap the trigger and get the same effect." The map called vacant I use the Mini Izu this gun is awesome but the majority of the people I have seen are using the Shotty or the Mp5 on this map.
2 Always keep moving LOL its a mad house on most of the games and spawn points are so random that you may appear right behind someone. You will notice people tend to fight a lot in the same areas on the maps there are certain houses and parts people flock too like bugs to a light.
3 As far as perks go the best I have found are Deep Impact and I forget the name but it gives your bullet more power so its like a double does of power to your shot. Last stand is cool it gives you a few seconds to avenge your death on the ground with your pistol
4 Last use that knife as much as possible click the right analog in for the knife. The left analog gives you sprint that helps sometimes also.

Whats up guys with this game finally closing in on us all that are still interested in being a part of the Deacon's Deadly Blades post your thoughts here on how you think things should be done as far as maybe practicing together and learning the maps. Also we can use this thread to organize matches with other clans. I just want to keep it as fun as possible and don't want it to come off as something you feel you have to do. Were all in this for the fun. Its like we have always said its just another way we as a community can all get together and have fun.

well, depending on how many people we end up with we could always make smaller squads of people that end up working well together. Like a good sniper, a good gunner, team leader and heavy weapon or crap like that. Squads sound like a good idea and even on larger games 2 squads could work together.

That sounds good to me. I really enjoy sniping on the maps that really allows it. I don't see being a sniper on some of the small enclosed maps but I have seen guys doing it. Aside from the Bolt action Sniper I like the M-16 with the Burst fire seems to be the most accurate in the Beta at least.

After playing last night I have to say this game is better than Halo....There Thump I admit it LOL. The maps are awesome the gameplay is smooth. I have only just had a glimpse of the single player im playing on next to the hardest level kinda like Heroic on Halo I guess. And it is awesome so far.

The perks and boot camp challenges are great most of the people seem really cool on there so far LOL. No little loud mouth kids yet..

Alot of the challenges are opened after you reach certain levels. I made it to level 15 last night with some pretty hardcore playing. It seems to be getting tougher and the little meter bar that shows progress is going slower ans slower LOL so thats good makes you work harder for rank.
Anyhow its great and I hope to see yall on there soon!!
