A few of you may know me from the offical Xbox forums. I currently live in Houston, TX, but I am in the process of relocating to Redmond, WA. I'm a software programmer by day and a crime fighter at night. I'm 29 years old, engaged, and have no kids; however, I am being overrun by cats and a stubborn beagle. I did have a bunny who kept all of them in place, but sadly "Hazel the Destroyer" passed away recently; those on my friend's list will remember him for his 15 mins of fame as my Gamer Pic. I'm a proud alumni of LSU, but one of the few who during those years had his nose in books instead of a beer in his hand. My favorite movie, as some might have guessed, is "Terminator 2: Judgement Day"; matter of fact, that movie was part of my inspiration to become a software programmer and to aim for a life goal of world domination by computers through great video game AI. For those who haven't guessed it, Green Lantern is my favorite comic hero and the 'concept' of the character is where I get my life motto...."Your only limitation is your own imagination."
So, there I am naked and exposed to the forums......so please be gentle.

Yeah, my degree is really Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science, but I found that I enjoyed the 'software side' more than the hardware. I really enjoy programming, and if you are wanting to go into the field, I recommend you to look into learning the basic concepts of C/C++ and then dabbling in Visual Studio .Net with C#.

Yea, I messed around with C# a little bit over the summer, and I made a few simple things... but I found it a little to hard to learn over internet tutorials, haha. Junior year I'm going to take a year long programming class in which we learn Visual Basic the first semester then C++ second (I think).
