Will Sony's HOME not stay FREE?

I've heard that HOME will be FREE for now, but it may get a set price like LIVE in the future.

If that's true... Sony just screwed themselves.

How so? Isn't HOME more advanced than Live? I'd expect to pay for HOME but be given LIVE free to be honest. Seems a bit backward.

HOME isn't the quality infrastructure that LIVE allows in games... It's only good for some type of Sim-world.

I wouldn't pay to be in a Sim-world, but I will pay for the quality that LIVE offers.

Will HOME offer the same quality options... Only time will tell.

That's what I mean, as it is right now, HOME is good but there's no solid base for games, kinda like what LIVE is. Sony are quick to harp the we're working on it routine and until they add tat functionality, it'll remain a segregated experience.

Home is free however will feature microtransactions. What I dont like is that from my impression from the GDC demo, Phil Harrison said we would be paying actual moola to download new types of furniture and clothing to customize our Home space and character. Thats just bullshit if true.

But Home itself will be free as a service.
