Just wondering if anyone here is into F1?
I am a huge F1 fan (as you probably guessed from my GT lol). Right now im in withdrawl waiting for the 2007 season to start, the winter testing is just giving me my F1 fix, but I really need to see some racing!

I think I am the only guy in America that favors F1 over NASCAR.

Watching rednecks drive around in circles is not my idea of good racing.

Actually, I am into IRL most of all.

Ever since Tony George split open wheel racing in america it has been dead. He made the IRL and now it is at the bottom of the food chain. I follow F1 a little. But to just say Nascar is a bunch of rednecks driving in a circle means u have no earthly idea what nascar is about. F1 is all about the onboard computers. Nascar is all about the driver knowing how his car feels and telling his crew what is happening. The human error in nascar is greater then in F1. Make the wrong adjustment to your car and it can ruin your day. There is alot more thinking involved in Nascar. there is alot more technology in F1 to take the guess work out of it. As for the redneck part of it get out of the 60's and listen to the drivers talk. alot of them are very intelligent. Alot of them own the whole race team and run the show.

If u like the IRL well how about this Tony Stewart and Robby Gordon both drove in the IRL, and Juan Pablo Montoya drove in Indy and the F1 series, they have all crossed over to Nacsar, so by your assumption that makes the IRL, Indy, and F1 series a Bunch of rednecks also.

So to make a statement that nascar is a bunch of rednecks happens to be inappropriate...

I don't watch auto racing at all, to me it doesn't even seem like it's a spectator sport, but F1 is the only form of it I respect.

I was F1 fan for 6 years, but in 2005 I lost interest in it. Now I favor Moto GP, it is a lot more fun to watch.
