Some of you said that 2008 would be an even bigger year for Unscripted 360 and it looks like you may have been right. What better way to start off the new year campaign than with news that U360 was selected 2007 BLOG OF THE YEAR in the Xbox Community Awards at Gamertag Radio. You guys are teh awesome! From being selected Community Member of the Year in 2006 to this, it’s been an incredible ride. You guys and girls brought home the trophy to U360! I appreciate the support and votes from everyone involved. I’d like to send a quick shout to the other nominees as well. I guess in the end there could be only one.
I’m honored to have been nominated and selected amongst the community which makes it that much more special. It’s something you guys and girls made happen. I know it must have been the bling, bling that pushed the site to the win. Head over and listen in to GTR’s 3rd Annual Community Award Show and ofcourse my acceptance speech.
TriXie and her group of super friends at Xbox.com are gearing up a tremendous end to the year that was 2007 with the Xbox Community Choice Awards. Want to vote on the best game of 2007? How about the most difficult achievement this year? Or the best add-on? You can make your opinion known over at Xbox.com by voting in a variety of polls.
You have to get your votes in before the year ends! All winners will be announced next month. Many of you already know and I wanted to share how much I appreciate you all gearing up support for U360’s Blog of the Year nomination in Gamertag Radio’s 07 Xbox Community Awards. For long time readers of U360, you may remember me winning Community Member of the Year in these same awards last year. Yep, at one point I was really cool or at least a few of you thought so.
This will mark the second time that the site has been up for Blog of the Year. That’s two for two! You guys must be doing something right out there to have people take notice of what’s going on with U360. I made a special little bling, bling banner for those of you on the campaign trail. “Bling, Bling”
Being selected is already winning so whatever votes that manage to come through are icing on the cake. You can vote for U360 as well as many other nominees and categories at GTR’s Voting Area. Voters are eligible for some cool swag too. Let’s take home the win this time baby!
The 2006 Xbox Community Awards Show was just released by GTR today and the nominees and winners were announced in the show. It’s early so enjoy. It looks like you all, the community, selected me ‘Community Member of the Year’! I was really shocked about it and I want to send a shout to litheon, PMS Kitty and the other nominees. They all do great things for the community. It’s an honor to be selected amongst my peers for this award. It was a great show to listen to so be sure you check it out.
The award was presented by my favorite Xbox girl, TriXie! Thanks lady! She was the winner of the same award last year so it’s great to get the handoff from her as I run the second relay. I also have to say that it was great just hearing ‘Unscripted 360′ be said by Natalie to open the show. It sounded so perfect. I’ll be taking auditions for a lady to join me on Unscripted 360 now. (haha) The award is presented at 37:33 into the show for the impatient ones.
Again, congratulations to everyone who took part in the awards and I’ll do my best to continue representing the community as best as I can. You guys and gals made me blush.

Remember me mentioning the Xbox Community Awards 2006? I was nominated for Community Member of the Year and Unscripted 360 was nominated for Podcast of the Year and Blog of the Year remember? It was a real shock to be nominated for three categories. Maybe I’m just really that cool huh? lol

Usually I’d start Monday off with a little Monday Morning Scripted but instead I’ll start the week off with the Xbox Community Awards 2006 presented by Gamertag Radio. This is actually the 2nd of these annual awards and well somehow, someway DeaconBlade and Unscripted 360 were nominated. That’s right. Community Member of the Year, Podcast of the Year and Blog of the Year are the 3 nominations that I and the site have received. Weird…I know, but it’s the truth.
