It seems like everyone enjoyed the Circuit City Bus photos I shared from the World Cyber Games event here in Dallas so I’m back to give you some video of the event. The video includes me ofcourse, the bus tour given by Circuit City’s Abby B. (yes that’s my cool name for her) and some highlights of Athena Twin, H2O as well as other players.

Video: World Cyber Games 2007 Southern Regional Finals Dallas
The World Cyber Games 2007 Southern Regional Finals came to Dallas and brought a fancy bus with them. I wanted to share some pictures of the WCG Circuit City Bus for all the geeks out there. It had nothing to do with Trixie hinting at bodily harm if I didn’t get some shots of the bus. Bodily harm would’ve been okay compared to all the heat that Dallas was throwing at me.
I’ll have some video coverage of the event up soon featuring the bus crew themselves along with some WCG Dallas attendees including Athena Twin from the PMS Clan and H2O. She was in the house coaching the H2O Clan during the Gears of War battle. I wanted to give a special thanks to Abby from Circuit City for taking care of me and being great for the camera!
The WCG Circuit City Bus was equipped with flat panel monitors and Xbox 360 Elite consoles making it a mobile gamer’s paradise. I left the event wanting a bus of my own! The crew from Circuit City was awesome in letting me get my dirty little hands on just about everything in the bus. Abby, who works with Circuit City Sports & Event Marketing, gave me an excellent tour. She even agreed to some camera time for the crowd. (you’ll see that video soon)
I enjoyed hanging out in the bus more than I did the competition. Yes, I will admit to wanting to somehow take those amazing Samsung flat panels with me along with an Xbox 360 Elite. I’ll be at the World Cyber Games 2007 Southern Regional Final event here in Dallas this weekend doing what I do. Lady J will be tagging along as well so we can double up and bring a lot of cool videos and images of the event. The World Cyber Games is the only single e-sports event organizing competition from six continents and is the world’s largest computer and video game festival.
For those of you who don’t know, TriXie just finished covering the WCG Asian Championship 2007 event in Singapore. Now the event swings by Deacon’s stomping ground so naturally I had to show my face. Competition in the WCG wages across several Xbox 360 games including Gears of War, Dead or Alive 4, and Project Gotham Racing 3. They’re trying to make their way to the 2007 Grand Final being played in Seattle.
