The games in the Batman Arkham series have had some of the best gameplay I’ve ever experienced. It’s the closest I will ever come to being Batman. This prequel to the Arkham series shows us a younger Batman who’s still getting his feet wet as a crime fighter.
In the trailer below, this game doesn’t look to disappoint and I’m looking forward to picking this one up when the game launches this Friday, October 25th. Batman: Arkham Origins just might be the best in the series so far.
Wanna have something scary to watch just in time for Halloween? There’s no better treat than to win The Conjuring on Blu-ray! It comes out tomorrow and thanks to Warner Bros. I have your chance to win it. I’ve seen the movie and it is definitely one of the scarier movies of the year.
How do I win Deacon?
It’s easy. Just comment or email me your favorite scary movie or scene. I’ll pick the winner Friday, October 25th.
If you haven’t read up on the movie before then check out The Conjuring 5 Things to Know! They’re interactive gifs so check them out.
It sure is pretty isn’t it? Warner Bros. is taking no shorts with its Collector’s Edition of Batman: Arkham Origins. The thing is packed! But is it worth the $119.99 price tag?
The CE will include a statue of the Joker complete with LED effects, an 80-page art book, two pieces of evidence, a Batman Wanted Poster along with Prototype Schematics for the Batwing, an Anarky logo stencil, a glow-in-the-dark map of Gotham, Wayne Family Photo and Intel Dossiers on the eight assassin’s along with Black Mask’s contract.
A First Appearance Batman Skin will be included, allowing players to appear as Batman did on his debut in Detective Comics #27 in 1939, along with the Deathstroke Challenge Pack which unlocks two extra Deathstroke skins and bonus challenge maps. Finally, North American versions of the special edition will get a feature-length documentary from Warner Bros. showcasing DC’s supervillains, while the PS3 edition will also have the Knightfall pack as exclusive content
It’ll be available on October 25 so start saving your monies. What say you?
Last night I finally got a chance to dive into Mortal Kombat and learn a few things. The game is very accessible and the fatality tutorial was awesome. It was on sale just last week. I hope you didn’t miss out. I haven’t played a Mortal Kombat game since DC vs MK and this one is the best yet.
I’ve played a little bit of the story so far and it seems interesting enough. I love playing as Freddy Krueger! Anyway, if you have the game and you want to get beat down, let me know. I will FINISH YOU!
It’s hard to beat this deal folks. Mortal Kombat is currently available for 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 on Games on Demand. I’ve heard it’s the best Mortal Kombat game in the series so it may just be well worth it. Also part of the Deal of the Week is every piece of content for the game. The Season Pass is discounted too at fifty percent off!
I’m not sure what to think of this trailer. It’s certainly nothing groundbreaking. I think the lure of this game will be the name and history of Mad Max. I loved the Mel Gibson movies so my interest in the game is based off of that. I’m sure quite a few of you feel the same.
Looking at the gameplay trailer it doesn’t appear to be anything worthy of a next generation release. The game is coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. I imagine the next generation version will have a higher pixel count but the gameplay should remain the same.
I’ll have to see more of this game in order to get excited. Take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think.
