Shadow of Mordor: First look Gameplay Walkthrough

Shadow of Mordor is looking like a triumphant appearance for Monolith on next generation consoles.  Although the game will be available on Xbox 360, I might decide to pick it up.  I love what they’re attempting to do and from the video alone I’m intrigued.  Yes, there are shades of Assassin’s Creed in it which isn’t a good thing.  I actually like the borrowed combat style.

Check out the walkthrough though … it looks great.

Batman: Arkham Origins Initiation DLC

I know Warner Bros. has had their share of issues with Batman: Arkham Origins but you have to admit that they know how to do a trailer.  The latest trailer introduces today’s Initiation DLC which is available on Xbox 360.  If you haven’t purchased it, you can do so at any time for $6.99.  Travel back to the days before there was a Batman™ and take control of a young Bruce Wayne as he completes his martial arts training. Experience exotic locales including a bamboo forest and mountain-top monastery. This pack contains Bruce Wayne and Vigilante skins, four challenge maps, and a challenge campaign.

Warner Bros. packages all Batman games for UK fans

Wow.  Warner Bros.  You’re giving fans in the UK a really awesome package aren’t you?  Fans of the Batman games will be able to grab Batman: Arkham Collections next week in the UK.

The Batman: Arkham Collection Edition will be available in the UK from 22nd November 2013.  Developed by WB Games Montréal and Rocksteady Studios, Batman ™: Arkham Collection Edition brings together the full collection of Arkham Games:

· Batman™: Arkham Asylum
· Batman™: Arkham City
· Batman™: Arkham Origins

Batman™: Arkham Asylum and Batman™: Arkham City will be available as digital downloads, while the latest game, Batman™: Arkham Origins is obtainable as a physical disc.

I don’t know how much this will be but I do hope that it comes to the US as well.  I assume that it will as Warner Bros. loves money just like any other company.  I hope the price isn’t too steep.

New Batman: Arkham Origins Launch Trailer

The games in the Batman Arkham series have had some of the best gameplay I’ve ever experienced.  It’s the closest I will ever come to being Batman.  This prequel to the Arkham series shows us a younger Batman who’s still getting his feet wet as a crime fighter.

In the trailer below, this game doesn’t look to disappoint and I’m looking forward to picking this one up when the game launches this Friday, October 25th.  Batman: Arkham Origins just might be the best in the series so far.
