Thumpthis

What’s the story behind your Gamertag?

Well a strange story indeed, it came from a mistake on MS part my original GT: Thumpdaddy. It got corrupted on MS servers so I had to make a new Gamertag.  I was upset because I lost everything and the GT I wanted to use was F!!kThis so I settled for Thumpthis.

The RhymeScheme

Can you tell us what Rhyme’s life is like outside of gaming?

My life outside of gaming consists of my wife and kids. We try to go out and do things together as much as possible. At one point in my life I treated gaming as if there were no life outside of it and that’s not good for you or your family. I was a Lieutenant with our Fire Dept. here for 3 yrs and stepped down last year.

But other than that I just hang out with the family and enjoy life. Oh, I’m also a concert junkie.

I’m sure you’d like to think of animals and wildlife after reading who’s next in line for a Showcase at U360 but you might be in for a surprise.

Or maybe not.  There’s only one way to find out though.

MasterGazelle

So MasterGazelle, What is your life like outside of gaming?

There’s a life outside of gaming?  Seriously though, life is never dull.  As a father of 4, there’s always something going on. Such as Cooking, cleaning, organizing, school trips, sorting out disagreements, help with homework, the odd cold & cough. It’s amazing that I have time for college as well.

Obviously, the children love games and my wife is also a gamer (MistressKaneda).  I love films, which I have been collecting since I was 12 years old.  That is rubbing off on the children.  It’s nice to see as they get older, that they can be introduced to a greater variety of films.  They always want to discuss their impressions.

He’s a fellow Texan and he’s been a friend for a long time.  It was great having him sit down with Twylyght Myst to get to know more about him.

Sit back and travel to Houston with U360’s latest Showcase.

Da Rafsta79

Da Rafsta, can you give us an idea of what your life like outside of gaming?

It’s pretty simple which is something I like very much.  Sunday’s I attend a Christian congregation and after that I spend the rest of the day watching football. Big surprise, huh?  I’m a big football junkie and have been since a very early age like 7 if I’m not mistaken. The instant I laid eyes on it, I fell in love with the sport.

Monday through Friday it’s wake up early, drop one daughter off at school, the other at the babysitter’s, go to work, pick the kids up, get home, eat supper and whatever else there is to do at home.  Oh and watch football on MNF.  If there’s time in the evenings on those days, I’ll game yet again! Saturday it’s hang out with my girls and other family and if that’s not happening, then the 360 is who I turn to.

kiki kat

Give the world a glimpse of the life that is Kiki.

I am from the beautiful sunny state of Arizona where I work as a software analyst and go to school full time toward a doctorate in psychology. I also work on an online community gaming magazine called The Blue Skittle, moderate on the Xbox.com forums and am a member of the Xbox GamerchiX. I have been involved with Xbox Live since the beginning after my son and I were chosen to beta test Live.

Give us the dirt on how you chose your Gamertag.

I really don’t have an exciting story behind my Gamertag. My sister gave me the nickname Kiki a long time ago and I like cats. Put them together and you get kiki kat.

Big thanks to Twylyght for taking the reigns and hammering out more of these Showcases for everyone to read and get to know more on each other with.

Squidpunch

Can you give us insight into the world that is Squidpunch? What’s your life like outside of gaming?

Well I work a full time job as a applications developer for a travel agency, I am married and have 2 kids (2 ½ years and 11 months old). Outside of gaming I keep myself busy with various programming projects, and now that winter is coming snowboarding. Though I don’t get to go nearly as much as I used to before we had to worry about who was going to watch the kids, they are still a little young to take with us.

Ready for more?  Ofcourse you are.   He’s a clan man that has a liking for drifting…

What’s life outside of gaming like with you? Tell the readers a bit about the person behind the console.

Well, I am an average 13 year old kid who plays sports. I play basketball and a little tennis. I have a great personality and am very social, so don’t expect a quiet game with me. I talk to my friends online through Instant Messaging or at school.

What’s the story behind the Gamertag?

Christmas 2006 was when I got my Xbox 360. I also got Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. While my dad and I were setting up the Xbox, we needed a gamertag. I couldn’t think of anything, so I chose DK (Drift King) Stunt (I looked on the back of the movie and picked a word. Haha.)

What’s life outside of gaming like with you?  Tell the readers a bit about the person behind the console.

I’m 13 and I love to game. I guess you could say I’m a recovering addict. I use to play Halo2 way too much. I love games and computers. I’m a techno geek straight out of Philadelphia. In my spare time, I hangout with friends and skate. I also love sports. In my extra free time I work to improve my design skills. I design layouts, skins, and various other things. I want to be a graphic designer when I’m old enough.

ExOtIc FaNtAsY

What’s life outside of gaming like with you? Tell the readers a bit about the person behind the console.

Well, my name is Brian and I’m a 24 year old from the state if Missouri. I’m part owner of a medical billing service company. We have a few offices in California, Tennessee and Missouri. I recently got married just this past October to my wonderful wife. Outside of gaming, I enjoy fixing up import tuner cars and hanging out with friends and family.

My days vary from day to day, but for the most part I try and keep life pretty simple. I have been a gamer since as far as I can remember. My first console was the NES. I got it with the Mario Bros./Duck Hunt combo game and the cool light gun that came with it.  I’ve been hooked ever since.
