It has been much, much too long since I have sat back and enjoyed producing an episode. I am glad to announce the wait is over and the show makes its return in grand style. I was recently showcased on Inside Xbox in both Canada and the United States. I decided to share some of the awesome, weird and funny messages that I received from the people who saw the spotlight.

I must admit that I kept one or two of them out of the show because to be honest, they did not deserve the attention. I managed to grab a few though that I thought would make for a pretty entertaining show. Have I mentioned that Canada is now my second home? There was a tremendous amount of awesomeness from the Canadians. They were mostly in text form so they did not make the show.

Episode #70 NHL 2K9 Developer Call

I had an opportunity to sit down on a conference call with 2K Sports on their upcoming game NHL 2K9. Ben Bishop (producer) and Jay Iwahashi (online producer) took some time to answer some community questions about the game. What better way to share the information and get you all close to the game than a show.

The game ships on September 9th which is right around the corner. Hopefully this show will help you learn a little bit more about what’s new. Get ready to play on the ice once more with NHL 2K9 while you listen in.

Episode #69 Mercenaries 2 Pre-Event Show

Last night we had a fantastic show to send yours truly off on my journey today to visit with Pandemic Studios and get some hands on time with Mercenaries 2: World In Flames. Big thanks to everyone who called in, listened in and participated in the chat.

Silent October even managed to win a potential 500 Microsoft Points courtesy of BostonPimpDaddy. One thing to note about this who is that the usual player at the end of the post will not be there. There are some issues I am waiting to get resolved with the player so you will have to simply download the show. I will try to get the quick play option back as soon as possible.

It was another wild ride on the show today especially with a surprise appearance by TriXie all the way from New York City celebrating the Brett Favre Madden NFL 09 cover announcement. She even brought more of her famous TriXie Dust and sprinkled yet another round of Xbox Live Arcade redeem codes on U360. Look for more chances to win this week.

All the 9 I had to find for Mr. Driller Online were announced on the show and we had a great time mixing it up on Grand Theft Auto IV, Battlefield: Bad Company, Peavy guitars and more.

Last Saturday was filled with lots of interesting talk surrounding Grand Theft Auto IV and the facts involving how subpar it is visually. (at least according to yours truly) We even had a surprise guest to speak on the mysterious happenings of the now infamous Tea Bag gamerpic. Take a listen.

10 x 10 Show Debut Episode #63

The debut of the 10 x 10 Show was incredible! I had a lot of fun with each community and the support was amazing. There were even big surprises courtesy of Godfree calling in to represent GTR live from Miami, Florida. He got Xbox.com Game with Fame guest of honor and Miami Heat music phenom, DJ Irie, to stop by and mix it up with the community while playing some Halo 3. I also have to select a winner for Rocketman: Axis of Evil for the Xbox Live Arcade which was another gift to the U360 crowd from GTR. Post a comment and I’ll pick a winner on Monday.

The show went so well that I will go ahead and put my plan into motion of having the 10 x 10 Show a permanent fixture into the U360 arsenal. Look for another 10 x 10 Show in the coming months! Start requesting the communities you’d like on the next 10 x 10 Show now. I want to give a big thanks to all the community guests and everyone who came out to chat and call in. DRM Special Episode #61

I promised the Zune and iTunes folks that I would release this episode today and here it is. We had a pretty interesting show 2 weeks ago about the Truth Serum article on DRM and the stories within the community surrounding it. Since then a few things have come to light including my DRM Tip a few days ago that have helped at least a few. The issue is still affecting quite a few and I am currently still working to uncover a better resolution.

Episode #60 Live Rez & Gamer Myths

It was a very entertaining and lively show yesterday. The Dangerdoll and Lady F chimed in on the myths of gamer girls and how the industry needs to change. I also revealed the chance for a few gamers to Get Rez’d with 500 Microsoft Points and a redeem code for the Xbox Live Arcade title, Rez HD.
