Yes there’s another skating game headed to stores near you soon and it’s that old familiar face, Tony Hawk. Opinions on the latest in the Tony Hawk series have been mixed but from what I’ve seen, it’s been really interesting. I suppose though that’s why we play the games. Seeing something and liking it is a lot different than playing something and liking it.
I’m eager to try it though. I enjoyed Project 8 so maybe Proving Ground will keep that streak. Here’s the launch trailer for the game. Don’t forget it’s also up at the U360 Video Channel.

If you haven’t downloaded the Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground demo yet, then you might want to do it now because there’s a chance to win involved. Activision shared a new video today showcasing one of the story modes, Career Skater. Career Skater mode allows gamers to unlock stories inspired by real pros. Get ready to grind it out again with the latest from the skating legend, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground. The game is being developed by Neversoft Entertainment and published by Activision. It’s scheduled for a Fall 2007 release.
