It’s 9:30AM on the beginning day of the Penny Arcade Expo.  The festivities officially start at 2PM today.  (an hour early if you’re registered media at the event)  Last night Alaska Airlines lost my luggage and I sit here now in a state of “questionable” hygiene.  My official PAX blogging starts at 1PM in the media room on site but will I be able to make it considering my luggage issues?

Yes, I’m here for the event but the one snag that all airline travelers fear has happened to me.  The good thing is that they’ve found my luggage and will set it up for delivery before the event.  (crosses fingers)  I made it safely though and have been having a blast with some friends.  Fatty Chubs, e, PMS Kitty, DirtyDiva and a few others have been especially entertaining so I haven’t been without fun so far.

Well, I’m on a mission to retrieve my luggage and get geared up for the event.  Stay tuned.

I’ll be on a plane in a few short hours headed to a friend’s house in Seattle to get ready for and attend this year’s Penny Arcade Expo (PAX).  Things are expected to be bigger and better for the community this year and I’ll be right in the thick of it providing a look inside from a gamer’s perspective.

PAX has become one of the hot spots for community fun and interaction.  The event has also garnered more industry participation which is good for getting my game on with a lot of games.

Penny Arcade Expo (PAX)

I have a few specific things scheduled with developers and publishers that you can look forward to reading about here on Unscripted 360.

- Kane & Lynch with Eidos
- Dark Sector with D3Publisher of America
- Rock Band with Harmonix

These are a few specific things that I know I’ll have an article up about.  I scheduled some time with each of them.  Everything else will be madness!  THIS IS SPARTA PAX!

The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) is gearing up for another run.  Thousands of community enthusiasts and industry veterans alike will descend upon Seattle from August 24 - 26.  We’ll all be coming to game and turn the party out!  I’ll be there enjoying the fun and trying to grab as much of the event as I can to share with everyone.  PAX is open to the public so all you have to do is buy your way in.  A 3-day pass for the entire event is only $50.  This means that anyone can go and enjoy some of the industry’s best games.  (if ofcourse you can come up with the dough)

Penny Arcade Expo

There should be a lot of community fun going on throughout the 3-day event.  How can you go wrong with a bunch of geeks gaming together and insane after hours parties?  Don’t let me enjoy it all alone!  If you plan to be there, let me know so we can meet up.
