It’s Monday and after an all-nighter featuring the torture of watching Alvin and the Chipmunks, I can’t say that it’s a pleasant one. You have to love those moments of parenthood when you’re stuck watching the most horrible of movies and pretending to enjoy it for the sake of your children.
Oh well, the Mavericks won and I’m happy about that. I’m looking forward to an exciting week. I have some plans next week to visit EA and DICE Studios to get some hands-on time with Battlefield: Bad Company. That should be a lot of fun! If you have any questions or you’re in the area, let me know. I played a bit of the beta this weekend and it was a lot of fun. The grenades are awesome with the little smiley face.

The DRM Follow-up Tip I posted a little while ago has helped quite a few people. I appreciate all the links and feedback that you guys are spreading around but more importantly I’m glad that it’s helping a few of you. Read up on it if you haven’t already and are experiencing problems with your content offline.
I’m really excited about you all enjoying the new Gamercard Comment feature. Like I said, it’s not mind-bottling but it’s pretty cool. Your comments are walking profiles of yourselves here it seems with all the medals and now the Gamercards. Me luv you long time! Well enjoy the week everyone.
It’s another Monday. The weekend brought an end to the U360 Easter Hunt Giveaway. It turned out to be an amazing four days of fun here at the site that an incredibly ridiculous amount of you enjoyed. I wish you all could’ve seen the stats program and how the search engine was the most used feature here. It was crazy! I’ll be revealing the answers, prizes and winners this week so stay tuned for that!
One of my good friends, JVB, is calling it quits with one of his podcasts, Podtacular. It was a show dedicated to the Halo nation and it was really the first show that I believe put podcasting into the forefront of the community. I wish ya well my friend on your other shows.
There needs to be an Unscripted Nights this week! I’ve responded to many emails about it and well hey, I’m working on it. (smile) I’m open to suggestions on the game. I have some time this week to get us all together again to frag each other so let me know.
I watched Enchanted this weekend with my daughter and it was a great movie. I really enjoyed it. I’m afraid though that it has replaced Hannah Montana on the constantly viewed every hour list at my house. Oh the joy of things that my daughter loves. I’m preparing for some enchanted torture this week. Let’s all have a great week!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. (especially you IrishPrik) Is everyone wearing green so that you don’t get pinched? It’s a great Monday so far as I’m still high off of the 10 x 10 Show’s amazing debut! You guys and girls made it a fantastic show. If you haven’t listened in, check out Episode #63 now.
I have an AMAZING announcement coming in just a little while. It’s something I’ve been working on that I think everyone will really enjoy. Stay tuned today for the big announcement! It’ll have a nice theme to it. (wink)

I have a winner to select in the Rocketman: Axis of Evil giveaway. And that winner is…conartistic! Congratulations my friend. Now ofcourse those of you who know how things work, if Con doesn’t confirm the win then I’ll have to pick someone else. So if he doesn’t confirm today, then tomorrow I’ll choose someone else.
Enjoy the short week everyone! (well those of you with Good Friday off)
Happy Monday! We had a great live show Saturday which made for a wonderful weekend. The weather was good, the show was good and shame to those of you who missed it. I’ll post the recap for you feed, Zune and iTunes subscribers tonight. We had a winner to the Get Rez’d giveaway who decided not to claim the redeem code so we all know what that means. I’ll fire off a message via Xbox Live to a new winner.
It turnes out Microsoft issued a statement to cease production on its HD DVD player while the show was going on and just as we were talking about HD DVD. This was just to go ahead and remind us all again of what we knew. What I can’t understand are the people who seem to think that their HD DVDs and their players have suddenly stopped working. They still work! If you don’t want your player or movies, feel free to send them my way.
I saw American Gangster on DVD this weekend because I couldn’t make it out to see Vantage Point. I suppose it was a decent trade-off considering American Gangster was pretty good. I’m going to have to find No Country For Old Men in the theaters somewhere. I’ve always wanted to see it and after winning the Best Picture Oscar last night, I want to see a bit more now.
We’re up to $170 on the donation effort. I made a link straight to it for convenience. You can donate directly here. Again, I appreciate the donations and hopefully soon we can reach our goal. Enjoy the week!
What’s life without the fantastic thing we in the workforce call Monday’s. They’re often terrible days but at times they’re good days. I suppose though that any day you wake up is a good day so from now on they’ll all be good days! Happy Monday everyone and welcome to another week in gaming land. Thanks for tuning in to the live show on Saturday everyone!

Now let’s get on to what a few of you may be waiting for. Who gets Rez’d and who gets 500 Microsoft Points? HazyCloud (500) and Dan (Rez HD) come on down. Not only do you win some goodies but you two also unlock the cool Lucky Leaf medal here on U360. Make sure you two send me a message on XBL confirming your win otherwise as usual, I’ll have to pick two others.
I didn’t watch much of the Grammy’s last night but I did check out the performances and I have to say that Kanye West and Amy Winehouse did their thing. Kanye’s performance inspired by his mother was incredible and I was impressed with Winehouse’s Rehab. It’s the first time I’ve actually bothered to check her out and she did really well.
Everyone try to send Paris Hilton an email or something just to let her know that it takes more than being a Hilton to make box office success. Her new movie, The Hottie and the Nottie, wasn’t so “hot”. It opened in 111 theaters and managed less than $30,000 across those theaters. Double ouch Paris! Could the world actually be sick of her? Yay for the world. Stick to homemade porn Paris.
I was playing a bit of The Spiderwick Chronicles game and it was really a lot of fun. It’s probably among the best movie-to-game titles I’ve played. I know that’s not saying much but they did a good job on it. I should have a review up on it hopefully soon.
I’m happy this Monday for a few reasons. The New England Patriots lost and so went the end of the “oh we’re so arrogant” era. I’ve never seen a team that rubbed just about everyone outside of their hometown the wrong way. Belicheat remained as classless as ever after the game so although I didn’t watch it, I was happy at the end result.
The other happy reason is that I’ll be seeing a pre-release screening of The Spiderwick Chronicles tomorrow. I hope a few of the people from U360 make it out. I’ve watched the trailer and it looks to be a fun fantasy film.
Last Saturday’s live show went very well. I discovered quite a few things about the DRM issue that I didn’t know before. If you haven’t listened in, be sure you do as you might find a solution to your problem of not being able to play your Xbox Live Arcade games. Big shout to everyone who called in and joined in on the chat. It was another great show!
I hope everyone has a good Monday. Let’s see what the gaming world has in store this week.
Happy Monday yet again everyone and welcome to Unscripted 360’s usual Monday Morning Scripted. The Monday Morning Scripted is ofcourse when I recap the previous weekend’s festivities and go over what’s hot during the week. It covers just about everything I can think of that was relevant in the world of U360. We had a ton of new faces and visitors over the weekend so I wanted to explain what the MMS was.
I didn’t see any movies over the weekend. I wanted to check out Meet The Spartans but it was my daughter’s weekend so I was shopping the entire weekend. To say I was overloaded with Hannah Montana would be a severe understatement. I had a lot of fun though and so did my daughter having a weekend in which she got anything she wanted from Daddy.
The live show on Saturday was fantastic! You guys and girls are really an incredible community and one that I’m happy to be a part of. The show went so well that it generated quite an opportunity for U360. I figured that instead of being in constant disbelief over the things that happen with the show, I’m going to enjoy the ride and enjoy it full speed!

Did you hear that all-knowing Cooper Lawrence issued an apology to gamers around the world in a NY Times article after actually spending some time with Mass Effect. Who would’ve thought you had to experience something before offering an opinion on it? We had quite a few laughs on the show about it all. Check out Episode #59 as it ended up beind the most shocking episode in U360 history!
Big shout to all the new callers and new faces to the show/site. This is the last week of January…can you believe it? Time waits for no one apparently. Enjoy the week ladies and gents.
I’m enjoying a day off today but I couldn’t forget about the Monday Morning Scripted fans out there. Happy Monday and thank you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for all your contributions.
We had a great live show this past Saturday with the Catch 22 winners all being announced. Episode #58 is for those who missed out on the fun. Congratulations to those of you who took the time to follow up on your Catch 22 entry. I encourage everyone out there to really READ what the articles have in them. I always have all the information needed for whatever the subject is.
We had some who apparently had no interest in scoring the free redeem codes. That means I have to pick 5 more winners of the Catch 22 event. So pay attention! I have 3 remaining Metal Slug and 2 remaining SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam codes. First come, first served for the 5 gamers to message me on Xbox Live wanting to win.

This week we’ll have a free Xbox Live Arcade title coming our way. Undertow is going to be free for download for five days beginning this Wednesday. I finally learned how to play Omega Five this weekend and I had a lot of fun with it. You have to play for a certain amount of time to increase the number of credits you have. One hour gets you 5 additonal credit and if you play for five hours, you get an unlimited number of credits. The dumb thing about the game though is that you can’t start from your last played level. Each time you have to start over. Meh!
Enjoy the week ahead ladies and gentlemen. Before I leave I want to give a quick shout to Irishprik and Fatal Turntable for the awesome Kingdom Under Fire co-op play this past weekend!
I’d like to say I’m happy but if anyone knows me they’d know I’m sad after my Dallas Cowboys coughed up a loss yesterday. Let this be a lesson to all of you that vacations to Mexico are evil and vacations to Mexico with the ridiculous Jessica Simpson is even more evil.
Unscripted Nights this past Friday went great! It was a lot of fun even though I was a leveled up noob. A ton of the U360 crowd came out to join the fun both regulars and new members in the community. I really had an awesome time and managed to even level up a bit.
I finished up the 2nd picture pack this weekend and it’s a very good one I think. I’ll hopefully have a release date for you soon so you can watch for it. It’s slated for 10 Gamerpics at 100 Microsoft Points. I’m really excited about this one because I think it’s a great mixture of styles.
Am I the only one who thinks Omega Five is pretty damn hard? I don’t know what it is. It could be the slow movement or the onslaught of enemies you don’t seem strong enough to kill. I don’t know what it is but that game seems more difficult than it should be. Or maybe I just suck.
I can’t say this is the best Monday ever but happy Monday nonetheless. We had a great show this weekend, a wow moment with Top Gamertags and a Redskins loss that made me smile. Is anyone else excited about The Sarah Connor Chronicles? Perhaps it’ll be something to replace my Heroes fix. It looks pretty interesting and I didn’t think I’d be saying that when it was first in development.
What was the exciting news out of the CES keynote? If you know, let me know. CES isn’t really a gaming show so I don’t expect much in terms of gaming at all. Xbox Live has over 10 million subscribers, LOST episodes are coming to the Video Marketplace and it looks like Canada is about to go Zune soon.
I have some reviews, Showcases, Report Cards and more coming your way this week. Get ready! We’re a week into 2008 already and there’s no time for slackers.
