They’re really quite glorious. It’s amazing how far gaming has come when you check out these screenshots.

To date Midway has announced the involvement of the following wrestlers from the TNA stable: Abyss, Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, Jeff Jarrett, Booker T, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Rhino, Scott Steiner and Sting. A complete roster will be available closer to the game’s launch. In addition to the more than 25 wrestlers, TNA iMPACT! will feature a top notch create-a-wrestler system that allows the player to interact with game’s story mode.

What happens in Vegas usually stays in Vegas right? If you’ve ever wanted to take a trip to find out but haven’t been able to gather the necessary nerve, then Midway is bringing Vegas to you. Allow me to introduce This is Vegas. You think there’s gambling and cheap women involved? I mean it is Vegas.

When a powerful businessman begins turning Vegas into a family-friendly tourist trap, you must start your own powerful empire and resurrect the famous adult playground. Party hard at the hottest clubs to make VIP connections. Grow your bankroll by hitting high stakes tables. Race the fastest cars on the underground circuit to raise your reputation. Fight off enemies with fists and firearms to prove your strength. Where you go and what you do is your call whether counting cards, seducing dangerous women, cruising the strip or starting bar brawls, you must put the sin back in sin city.
Last month I gave you news about new Stranglehold downloadable content featuring 10 additional multiplayer maps and those famous 250 additional Achievement points. Midway Games released that content today for you John Woo and Chow Yun Fat fans out there. You can head out to the Xbox Live Marketplace to get the new content now.

Okay so there’s at least a few more thing interesting about the Spike VGA awards beyond the painted girls. Midway gave wrestling fans another trailer for its upcoming TNA iMPACT! video game. The game, based on the highly rated TV show, is scheduled for release in spring 2008.
John Woo and Chow Yun Fat fans get ready for more fun with a downloadable map pack for Stranglehold. There’s no word when this new downloadable content will be available but it features 10 additional multiplayer maps ranging from the Kowloon Market to Wong’s Estate Grounds to the Rooftops of Chicago, as well as 21 all-new multiplayer character skins.
And for you achievement fiends out there, it will include 10 new achievements worth 250 gamerscore points. It’s coming soon so get ready. I haven’t had a chance to play this game but it looks like there’s more bang to it now.

Here’s a new trailer and a few new screenshots for BlackSite: Area 51 from Midway Games. It’s set to drop next month on Xbox 360. The trailer is narrated by Harvey Smith, Executive Creative Director on BlackSite, and it provides details and background on the many types of Xenos and Reborn that battle Aeran Pierce and his squad throughout Iraq and Nevada.

He’s an Olympic gold medalist and he likes to remind people of that. Midway released the first screenshots for their upcoming wrestling game TNA iMPACT!
TNA iMPACT! will feature more than 20 customizable TNA wrestlers, including Abyss, Kurt Angle, Christian Cage (below), Jeff Jarrett, Rhino, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Sting and more. The TNA iMPACT! video game is the exclusive Total Nonstop Action Wrestling™ video game based on the top-rated weekly television show on Spike TV. TNA iMPACT! drenches the player in moves and match types using TNA’s signature six-sided wring, with amazing acrobatic and aerial feats along with the bone-jarring crush of hard –hitting impacts.

Midway released a new video for the upcoming game, BlackSite: Area 51. The video is narrarated by Harvey Smith, Executive Creative Director for BlackSite. I enjoyed the demo that was released a little while ago and it’s looking like it has continued on the path of quality. The new screens they sent are interesting as it looks like you’ll be operating more than just some heavy weapons. The 3 new screens are identified as BlackSite 9/20. The game is set to hit stores in November bringing yet another hot title to the Xbox 360 for the holidays.
