For those of you who don’t know, I’m more than just the Velvet Voice around these parts. I’m also an author. I published my first book last year, Day 8 New Human War. Although I’m working on the next chapter of Day 8, I wanted to introduce you to a new character from my next book. Her name is Timber Timmins! Check the link out for more. She’s the new face of awesomeness.
Let me know what you think. The book will be available soon and I’m hoping you boys and girls will help support Timber.
Still getting used to the new things that are popping up around the site? Good! I wanted to point out a couple of them so you boys and girls can boost them up. First up is the new sharing system and related content. Each post will have sharing options for your favorite social media channels. (Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc). You can quickly share the article with your friends, followers and those in your circles. Sharing is caring and it only takes one click so please start sharing what you like. Along with the sharing option is the related content that pops up on each post. Seeing other content that is relevant will help you find other articles that you might have missed. I think it’s a great option to see more of what’s going on.

Nowadays, Xbox owners can make online purchases via the live marketplace application found in their devices. There are various payment options to choose from depending on the user’s preferences. It’s possible to have more than one cash exchange program so long as they’re linked with your official Xbox account.
Credit card / Debit card
Xbox Live certainly accepts credit / debit cards in managing your payment transactions. You have 2 options though when using this mode either in your PC or your Xbox console. When using your PC, simply visit the xbox website and sign-in to your account, and link your credit/debit card number. Or, sign-in using your console and you start with managing your payment options under the “My Xbox” portion.
Generally, the advantage of using credit/debit card as a mode of payment is that most game sites including bingo sites accept credit/debit cards. This is the mode that is most accepted, but it calls for precaution.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is set to retire within the next 12 months. This marks yet another significant shift at Microsoft. It probably doesn’t directly affect the state of Xbox over in Redmond but it does mean something. Whenever there is turnover or replacements, things change all around and I expect that to happen at some point.
“There is never a perfect time for this type of transition, but now is the right time,” Ballmer said. “We have embarked on a new strategy with a new organization and we have an amazing Senior Leadership Team. My original thoughts on timing would have had my retirement happen in the middle of our company’s transformation to a devices and services company. We need a CEO who will be here longer term for this new direction.”
It’s been a very rough ride for Ballmer and crew lately. Surface isn’t exactly setting the world on fire. Windows 8 is reverting to things it said it wouldn’t. And we know how this Xbox One train has been going. What say you?
R.I.P.D. The Game is available now in the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points. I checked out the demo last night and it was suprisingly fun.
It’s a video game obviously based on the upcoming 3D supernatural action-adventure film, R.I.P.D. You and a partner will take up the holsters of two lawmen dispatched to the otherworld to protect and serve the living from an increasingly destructive array of souls who refuse to move peacefully to the other side.
The movie of course is coming to theaters tomorrow and it stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges. I was invited to sit down with the stars of the movie at a press event in New York a few days ago. Although I couldn’t attend (dammit I hate I missed it), they were kind enough to share the press conference with me so we can all listen in.
I’m really looking forward to seeing this movie. It has that Men In Black vibe mixed with even crazier aliens. What’s not to love right?
Here’s another article of mine for Intel iQ. I take a look at their 4th generation processor will affect the gaming experience. The new processor is ushering in the Iris Pro graphics system that should help games look even better. Give it a read right here!
