Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks

Am I the only one who watches this series on Cartoon Network?  I hope not because it’s a pretty good cartoon.  I haven’t played one of the games in the series but Ben 10 has supposedly sold millions.  I just got the scoop from D3Publisher that an all-new storyline and game is headed our way.  It’s coming to just about every platform except the PlayStation 3 for some reason.  There’s even a DS version coming that I’m sure my daughter will love.  The box art is pretty cool.

Texas Cheat ‘Em headed to XBLA

Who hasn’t done a little cheating in their life right?  We’ve all done a little devious thing to get ahead when up against a friend in a game or two right?  Well soon it’ll be okay to cheat thanks to D3Publisher.

Texas Cheat 'Em

Texas Cheat ‘Em is a new take on the classic Texas Hold ‘Em rules, turning an average online poker table upside down by layering party games and other gambling mini-games on top of the basic rules, and allowing players to cheat to win!

Texas Cheat ‘Em will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade with an assortment of robust online features supporting voice chat, so you can talk trash and flaunt your gambling prowess as you bluff and cheat your way to the top of the leaderboards.  Check out a few more screenshots here.

With Vision Camera support I imagine this one will be just as “interesting” as the original.  I hope there’s Avatar support somehow.

Onechanbara Sexy, Zombie Videos

D3Publisher doesn’t appear to be taking itself too seriously when it comes to Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad.  And to be honest with you, it’s refreshing to see some humor especially in the tough economic times the gaming industry is facing.  You can learn a great deal about women in bikini outfits and you can learn a lot about the undead in these videos.

Things we learn

1 – Zombies are pretty cool and just misunderstood

2 – Throw enough hot chicks in a video and it makes everything better

3 – Never deliver pizza to hot chicks with samurai swords (they don’t tip)

Without spoiling too much, head over and check out the Onechanbara TV videos while we anticipate the game’s release on February 10.  At the request of D3Publisher, I had to put these puppies behind an age gate to protect the innocent teens out there.

One other thing for those of you who didn’t know (including me).  It’s pronounced (Oh – Nee – Chanbara).  I kept saying “One” Chanbara all this time.  I know I should be flogged.  Go now and make haste towards sexy, hilarious, Onechanbara videos.

Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad, Feb. 10 Release

I’m happy to announce (or at least that part of me that digs virtual women in bikini outfits slaying zombies) that Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad has gone gold and will hit North American stores on February 10.  I don’t know if there is anything better than killing zombies and doing it as a hot chick is there?

Gamers and fans alike will be able to experience the original Japanese videogame with an unfiltered story that is visually enhanced to make the North America release the most beautiful Aya and Saki adventure yet.   It contains a different story, providing more clues of the girls Imichi ancestory for players to discover and zombie creatures to destroy.

Don’t deny it.  You’re ready.  You and your hidden desires to kill zombies in a bikini are ready for this game.  Will D3Publisher and Tamsoft score big with this one?

Zombies, Bikinis, A Perfect Match – Onechanbara

There aren’t many games that can manage to satisfy a man’s thirst for mutilating zombies and watching women in bikini’s until now that is.  Well, I have a game for you that appears to be every gaming nerd’s fantasy.  Who doesn’t want to fight zombies while controlling a woman in her bikini?  Half-naked women and zombies anyone?  Yes, please!  I’ll take two.

D3Publisher of America is bringing that action right into your living room (2009) with Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad.  They didn’t waste much creative thought with the name as you can see.  It features Aya and Saki, sisters with a passion for obliterating zombies, and an equal enthusiasm for showing off their assets, as they battle hordes of enemies in their skimpiest outfits in an effort to save their city.

The sisters join together to draw their swords and rid the city of evil.  Gamers can play with a friend in Co-op Mode or switch between any of the three beautiful playable characters in single player.  Each character has a variety of unique moves that can be mastered during combat to destroy enemy zombies.  Get too much blood on either sister and be driven into Rage Mode and gain more power and agility to destroy enemies faster and deadlier.

There’s even a Wii version called Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers.  Developed by Tamsoft, both Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad and its sequel Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers for Wii will release in early 2009.  They’re two complete stories in the Onechanbara series.  You can check out the first screenshots of Bikini Samurai Squad and get a taste of the “assets” here.

So Tamsoft thinks they can just throw some sexy women into a game and mix it with a little zombie killing action to please me huh?  Ok, well that’s not fair because I’m easy.  How about you?

Dark Sector Demo Arrives

I always say “better late than never” when it comes to certain things and D3Publisher obviously lives by that philosophy too as they finally dish out a demo for Dark Sector.  You shouldn’t need a demo for this game after reading U360’s Dark Sector review which was a most excellent breakdown of the game.  There’s also an equally awesome Q&A with Dave Kudirka, Associate Producer at Digital Extremes for you to read.

Those of you who haven’t tried Dark Sector, get ready to get your glaive on!  It’s only $39.95 in stores now (and maybe even cheaper in some places) so it’s an even better deal.

Dark Sector

Developed by acclaimed developer Digital Extremes, Dark Sector, thrusts players into the role of Hayden Tenno, an elite black-ops agent sent on a dangerous mission into a decaying Eastern European city that hides a deadly Cold War secret.

Attacked by an unknown enemy, he awakens to find part of his body altered by an infection that has granted him inhuman abilities; now he must learn to evolve along with his powers, to survive and to become a hero.
