NBA 2K10 Anniversary Edition

Talk about putting together something crazy yet surprisingly awesome.  To celebrate the 10 year run of the NBA 2K franchise, 2K Sports announced its NBA 2K10 Anniversary Edition.  It includes a pretty cool game locker to hold 20 of your games.  This edition is so massive, they have a website dedicated to it.  You can check out the super deluxe image of it here.

As part of a limited edition offering of only 30,000 copies, each NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition will be individually numbered for authenticity.  Ten lucky fans will have the rare opportunity to find an autographed Kobe Bryant fine-art print, designed by Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One, which will be hidden and randomly packaged among the different lockers.

“We’ve always been very proud of how we engage our fans on a community level, and NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition is our way of giving back to all those that have supported us along the way,” said Greg Thomas, senior vice president of sports development for 2K.

NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition will include:

· NBA 2K10 video game

· 2K Sports’ NBA 2K10 game locker

· 3″ Figurine of Kobe Bryant by McFarlane Toys

· 16″ x 36″ Kobe Bryant poster

· Commemorative NBA 2K 10th anniversary DVD

· Access to the Gold Room, the NBA 2K10 VIP online lobby (where celebrities and other VIP members will go to play)

Who wants that locker?  This little edition is set to retail for $99.99 so start saving your lunch money.  It releases in October so you’ll have plenty of time.

  1. Kobe is an arrogant, selfish loser, and I wouldn’t purchase this with him on it. Although that locker cabinet is pretty cool.

  2. I wouldn’t mind getting a game locker lol. My people have a bad habit of messing up my games and leaving them all over the place instead of putting them back…… I have a slight case of game collection OCD……

  3. if i had $100 i’d get it for the locker alone.

  4. This all depends on how that huge logo is on the locker. If it can either a)be removed or b)painted over, I may just get this.

  5. That’s not a bad package for $99.00 I’m not a Kobe fan either but I am a 2K fan so I’ll just get the game. But if I did get that package, I would sell that Kobe figure on E-Bay! :)

  6. I think I’d get this if I had the money.

  7. this is to expensive. it is not worth it think about it.

2k10 game locker is pretty cool but still it is to expensive.

I am just going to get the regular game.

  8. @coustmer, that’s a pretty cool locker indeed. i’d honestly get it just for the locker.

  9. i think that this is worth 100 dollars and kobe bryant is the best player to ever play basketball so i would definitely get this bundle
